Lynn POV
All I felt was pain all over my body when I started to wake up to a beeping sound next to me. As I slowly opened my eyes, I saw one of my greatest fears come true. I was lying in a white room with all kinds of machines around me that were connected to me. My wrist is tied to the bed.
'no, no, this can't be true. I can't be back with them. I can't do this again.' I thought. Because of my fear, the heart machine started beeping louder. I froze the handcuffs and was able to tear them apart. As quickly as I could, I pulled all the wires out of my body. "Ah," I groaned when some blood came with it. The machines no longer made any noise, but I knew that the earlier loud noise would attract people and knew I had to get out of there quickly.
Voices and footsteps on the other side of the door indicated that they were already close, and I knew I had to hurry. I looked up and saw an air vent and knew that had to be my way out. Before they could open the door, I froze the door and climbed to the air grille. When I was in the grille, I placed the lit back on the opening and crawled away as quickly as possible. With pain and effort, I crawl far from the room where I woke up. I crawled out of the air vent and ran as fast as possible from the building I was held in.

Avengers POV
We all sat in the living room in the Stark Tower, waiting for Lynn to wake up. We had already given Fury an update on what we had found out about her. Fury indicated she would be given a chance but must be handcuffed to the bed For security reasons. Something that irritated everyone.
The TV was on, but no one was really watching.
Bucky was the worst of all of us. No one could understand what had happened to her except Bucky. He talked more about his time at Hydra and what he knew about Lynn's time there, and let's say it wasn't good. The scars on her body said it all.
Jarvis's voice broke us from our thoughts. "Miss Lynn has woken up and is having a panic attack." Our heads immediately went to a few curses from Bucky. "We shouldn't have left her alone. Of course, this only reminds her of the experiments they did." We ran as fast as we could towards the medic.
When we came to the medic room, she was nowhere to be found. "Jarvis, can you tell us where she is?" Ask Tony.
"Miss Lynn has just left the building on the north side." Came the response from the AI.
The Avengers ran as fast as they could to the exit of the north side of the building and began running in the direction Jarvis had seen her walk.
Because of her situation, she did not look out for the cameras on the street, so Jarvis had an easy time tracking her. It was not long before the Avengers found the young woman they were looking for.
"Lynn, please stop and listen to us," came the voice of Steve, who hoped they did not need to fight her again. He wanted to gain her trust. After everything Bucky told them, he wanted to give her a real home and people she could trust.
Lynn stood still and turned around to look at them. "I told you to let me go. Why did you not listen? I even wanted to come to you guys." Came the broking voice of the young girl.
"We can do that now!" Told Wanda.
She asked Wanda, "How can I believe you when you did the direct opposite not long ago."
"I know we started off in the wrong way. But can you give us another chance to prove we can do better?" Wanda asked again.
Lynn sighed. She knew she would not come far in this position. She did not really have a choice. She was struggling to stay conscious, so she nodded only as her vision became blurry before passing out.
Steve took her in his arms and brought her back to the infirmary in the Stark Tower. This time, Steve and Wanda stayed at her side when she woke up.

Lynn's eyes started to go open. "Where am I?" she asks to no one in particular. Steve and Wanda looked up directly and ran to the bed. "You are in Stark Tower" explained Steve. "Okay," came Lynn's groggy voice before she drifted off again.
Sometime later, she woke up again with the same question. "Where am I?" So Steve answered the same answer again. Slowly, she tried to sit up a bit, but it was painful, so Wanda and Steve helped her up. " Are you okay?" asked Wana, worried.
Lynn looked at Wanda and then at Steve. "Yeah, I'm fine, nothing I have not experienced before. Steve and Wanda looked at each other. "You should not have to experience this" Steve told her. But even if she knew that as a 20-year-old, she never should have experienced this. It was her life, and she almost did not know anything else.
"Yeah, tell that to the ones who make me like this," she scoffed. "I know you guys have a lot of questions. Please just let this get over with so I can go my own way," she told them.

Sometime later, the group comes together in the living room. Lynn sits in one of the chairs facing the Avenger. She was calm under it as she saw them all entering the room, except when the Winter Soldier came inside, and Lynn became stiff. Steve, who saw it, tried to calm her down. " He is not the same person as you have known before. I hope you can give him a chance." She did not know if she could do that. So much happened when they were both at Hydra.
"Well, little Lady, can you please tell us something about yourself?" said Tony, who wanted to know everything about her.
"well.. first, thank you for fixing me up. I know I was not easy." The group smiled softly at her. When I was about five years old, my parents were killed by Hydra, and I was taken with them. They did a lot of awful stuff to me. She looked for a moment at where the winter soldier stood. I never obeyed them, and because of that, I was tortured a lot. From beatings to training with the winter soldier." she paused momentarily while Bucky stiffened in his place. " They had me even sent to the red room because I tried to escape a lot of times as well, and after everything, I would not listen to them. They tried to put a command chip in me so I would obey. But when they tried to do that, my body was protecting me with a glow over my brain, so luckily, they could not put the chip in. But that was also the moment training and the torture started to become more demanding. And they tried to give me more powers, which is something they did accomplish." She told them the rest of the story, and the whole group was sad for the girl, that everything had happened to her, and how she had escaped in the end.
"But why did you not want to come with us when you know we fight against them?" asked Steve.
"If I came with you guys, Hydra would have also found me. They have more eyes in the city than you think. I could not risk that. I just wanted to have a semi-normal life. I wanted to know what it was like to be normal for once. And I can't do that when I came to you."
It was understandable why she did not want to come. "Oke, but now I want to know what kind of powers you have," said Tony with a mischievous smile.
And sow Lynn began to tell all that she could do.
"Freaking mother earth," laughed Tony as he turned around, walking away while he yelled at Bruce, "Docter, we have some things to work on, come on!"
