"Shadow" she heard the Captain yell as she ran away. She knew she had to be fast because the Avengers could be here any moment and knowing she couldn't handle a fight with them now. Well, she could handle it, but the chance that she would get her explosive reaction soon was very likely. She felt it the last time she used her powers on the Captain, Falcon and the Winter soldier. She planning for a week away from school anyway, so that she could get her radiation power under controle again.

It was already getting dark and Lynn was happy because she could use that to her advantage. She dashed around a corner, boots pounding on the sidewalk. A shout sounded behind her, causing her to run faster if that was even possible. She skidded around another corner, nearly knocking over outdoor tables of a restaurant.

"Sorry!!" She yelled when a person's food went flying, not caring to glance back. Pushing past pedestrians, she sharply turned down an alleyway. Rough walls and crudely spray-painted words greeted her as she moved around large crates, barrels and workers. The alley ended in another busy street, there Lynn slowed down to a walk to catch her breath. breathing hard she made her way to where her apartment was located, to get her stuff and get out of there as fast as she could.

Saying hello at the old woman sitting in front, wife of mr. Chipper the manager from the building. She stepped up the stairs and ran to her apartment, slowly she walked inside listening if she could here someone inside. When she could not hear anyone she closed the door locking it behind her. Running her fingers through her long wavy blond hair she exhaled a deep, shuttering breath. Closing her eyes and breathed in and out to steady her nerves. Then she made her way to her bedroom and took a back to put her stuff in.

Why can't they leave me alone, I'm not a criminal. The only thing she could think about was how stupid she was that she stayed her so long. But she also wanted to stay here and build a normal life for herself and to not be on the run for once, to not have to look over her shoulder all the time.

A loud knock at the door echoed across the room. Lynn looked curiously at the door. She hardly ever had visitors, except for the manager and sometimes his wife. She stepped carefully to the door not to make a sound and peeked through the watch hole.

A dark-haired man in trousers and sunglasses stood outside, tapping his foot, hands in pockets, an annoyed expression on his face.

Tony freaking Stark

She walked back to her bedroom as quietly as she could and gathered her last things. A knock sounded again on the door. Lynn glanced over at it one more time before stepping over to the window an unlatching it, easing it open but with a sound. Lynn closed her eyes hoping Tony hadn't heard.

"Hello?" Tony's voice is sounded heated. "Shadow, Lynn, I know you're in there. If you don't open this door, I will force this door open" She slides a leg out of the window first. "Try your best" she wisperd. A peculiar sound caused her to pause for a moment, before she ducked and a device was flying to the door before is was exploded and there was no door anymore where it should be.

The door was shattered, spewing wood and splinters everywhere. Lynn caught a glance of Tony covering his face with his coat, before she turned, dashing out of the window.

She fell a few feeds before grabbing onto a window post still on the neighboring building. "Lynn!" she heard Tony yell out her window. "We won't hurt you! I promise!"
"Yeah, right" she scoffed, pushing of the wooded frame and jumping to the opposite wall. She quickly made her way down by pushing off the two walls with her legs and feet. she could use her powers and get away faster, but she didn't want to risk it, the little shocks were already palpable. Jumping to either side until she hit the bottom of the alley and looked up "Please just stay away from my, especially now" she yelled at Tony who got a confused expression.
