Chapter 117: Happy Anniversary baby

"Can you help me carry some breakfast up to mommy?"

"Yeah, I hep you daddy"

The girls and River help Brad carry toast and eggs with a cup of orange juice up to the bedroom where Jen is currently breastfeeding Emery. Today is their 5th wedding anniversary and Brad wants to make it extra special.

"When we walk in, can we all say 'Happy Anniversary'?"

"Why daddy?" Ophelia looks up at Brad, questioning him

"Well, you won't understand this, but today is mine and mommy's anniversary. Five years ago today, we got married"

"I was born?"

"No, you weren't born yet, nor was your sister and brothers"

River turns the doorknob and they all walk in.

"Happy nursery mommy" Pollyanna says with a big smile, running towards her mother

"Happy nunsuy" Ophelia follows, jumping on the bed

"Nunsy" River tries his best to say it

"Happy anniversary baby" Brad is last through the door, placing the tray of food on Jen's lap as he leans in for a kiss

"Thank you everyone... thank you babe" Jen gives the girls and River a kiss, before giving Brad another one

"We made you toast and eggies mommy"

"Oh thank you guys. I guess I'll have to share with everyone right?"

"I want to eat some mommy"

(Brad's P.O.V)

Courteney has just picked up the kids as they're staying over hers tonight and I'm prepping everything for when Jen comes back from the Spa day I planned for her. I've ordered some Sushi from Nobu and it's just arrived. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm not the best cook, so ordering in was the only option if I wanted us to have the night in that I've planned for us.

I'm expecting Jen's arrival any minute, so I quickly finish the final touches. I've dimmed the lights and added hundreds of candles around the living room and the dining room, along with a trail of rose petals for her to follow. The trail of roses, lead up to the guest closet as I've bought her a new outfit especially for tonight, so when she comes back downstairs, she will he led into the kitchen where I'm going to be standing in my suit with a bottle of champagne in hand.

I can hear her car engine turn off, so I get into position and wait for her to come and see everything.

(Jen's P.O.V)

I'm walking up to the door after such a wonderful spa day. I can't thank Brad enough for that, it's really something I needed to release any stress that I had. I stop at the front door when I see a gold envelope with the number '1' written on the front. I take it off the door and open it.

Happy anniversary gorgeous. I can't believe that 5 years ago today I married the love of my life. I can't wait to spend this evening with you. Open the door and follow the rose petals until you find envelope number two!

I open the door as instructed and I'm shocked by what I see. Candles lighting up the entire room with rose petals sprinkled everywhere. I follow the trail until I see the second envelope I'm looking for.
