5. Check my text messages

Jin is on his bed, rolling around with a book on his hand. He can't find the most comfortable position as he tries to memorize some Biology terms to be ready for their quiz tomorrow.

He then sighed and lied on his back, he covered his face with the open book.

"I can't concentrate on this!! Ugghh!!"

The happenings this morning still bothered him. As much as he'd like to be honest with Taehyung of what happened, he just can't. It'll just create more issues.

He then shove the book away on his face, "He walked me to our car outside the gate. It's the first time someone sends me off to go home"

Jin smiled lightly. He thinks that Taehyung is somewhat sweet inside. He told Jin he wouldn't want anyone else walking with him. Not to their way to class or even when he's on his way home.

"Is this how it is when you're dating someone? Haayyy."

Jin's phone beeped.

Taehyung:
What are you doing?

Jin suddenly flipped over when he saw Taehyung's message. Then he started typing.

Seokjin:
Studying. Why?

I'm bored. Let's chat?

No, can't do. I'm reviewing for the quiz. You should too!

I'm done. Too easy! 😎

"Ugghh, such a show-off. Ahhh right! This is now my chance to bore him more and turn him off! Hehe." Jin said to himself while staring at his phone.

Ok. Then how bout we get to know each other more?

Sure, what do you want to know?

Jin then opened the browser of his phone and googled 'love quiz for new couple'. "Haha I'm sure he'll find these corny and boring! Ahh this one, 101 things you should know about each other! Hehehe.."

Hmm, what do I want to know? A lot of things actually. How about you answer this questionnaire I have here? Would you do that for me?

Ok, let's try that. Better than doing nothing at all.

Jin continues to send Taehyung basic questions and the latter just responds his answers. "Hmm, he's still replying! I should ask more irritating questions!"

Wait, why do you only get to ask? I should also ask something, right? Why did you transfer schools?

Coz there was also a group of students bullying me at Hybe High School.

Really? What are their names?!

You don't know them anyways, why ask? They're the top dogs of the school so I can't really do much to avoid them. After that incident when they dunked my head on the toilet and busted my nose, I swore I'm gonna transfer schools already.

After a few minutes, "Hmm, he's not replying anymore. Maybe he's starting to get bored. Wait, I should send more of the questionnaire to annoy him." Jin whispered to himself.

Do you really want to know anything about me? I'm not interesting at all. Nothing worth knowing about. So I'll send more questions for you, okay?

Pfft what the hell was that?! You think that way of yourself, that's why the other students in school see you that way.

Jin was taken aback of what he just read. He just shrugged it off and just looked at the questionnaire again. When suddenly a text from an unknown number popped up.

Hi Seokjin! Hope I'm not disturbing you? I got your number from Xiumin, your partner for the science project. *Jungkook

"Woaahh! It's Jungkook, OMG!" Jin exclaimed. Then another text popped up.

Hey, where are the questionnaires? Hurry up! Is it still ok to continue??

"Hmpp! This boy doesn't know how to wait!" Jin navigates back again to the browser and copied the question, then went back to messages, pasted his reply,

What is your favorite subject?

..and pressed Send.

"Ok now hmm, what should I tell Jungkook?!" Jin is quickly thinking and then started typing.

Uhm it's okay. Well I really wanted to thank you again  for saving me. I wish there's something more I could do for you.

Jin closed his eyes and pressed Send. "Ohhh my Lord!! I can't believe Jungkook texted me!" He hugged his phone close to his chest while he lay down his back on the bed.

Then his phone beeped again, it's Jungkook. Jin once again flipped from the bed to read his reply.

Uhmm, that was random? But my favorite subject is Math. Hehe!

"What?" Jin got confused. Then his phone beeped again.

Well, there's one thing I would want in return. How about a kiss?? You said it alright! I want it tomorrow. Good night Jin! 😘

"Oh shittt! You're so stupid Jin!!!!" He buried his head on the pillows, wishing to just disappear into thin air.
