21. Hungry for your love

Author-nim's P.O.V.

The first day in the resort was more of a free time for them to go around and do activities the students like to do with their friends.

Jin watched as his friends go to their choice of activity - Jimin has been whining to Yoongi that he wants to get a whole body massage; while Namjoon and Jungkook are thinking about playing billiards.

"Come on, Jin. Let's play pool?" Jungkook asked.

But Jin only has one mission in this trip and that's to get Taehyung to talk to him.

"Uhm, no thanks. Maybe I'll just go around for a while and will go to bed in a few minutes. I'm tired of the travel earlier so I want to rest early tonight." Jin said.

"Okay, no problem. If you change your mind, just find us at the billiards hall." Jungkook and Namjoon waved him goodbye.

Jin is walking along the shore as he watches the sky, the sun almost setting down and the waves making the perfect splashing sounds as the water rushes into the shore and back to the ocean. He thought it's been a while since he saw this view.

So he opened his arms wide, as if welcoming the fresh sea breeze to tickle his bread cheeks. He closed his eyes and thought how he wishes he's out here with Taehyung, it'll be a first again for them to watch such a beautiful sunset.

He was taken away from his thoughts when someone not so far asked him, "Do you like it, the beach?"

He turned to his side as he didn't hear it clearly, "Bitch?! Did you say.. bitch?" He can't believe Taehyung is now calling him names.

"Yeah, I mean the beach. Beach. The ocean?" He walked towards Jin.

"Ahh, the beach. Uhm, y-yeah. It's a nice view isn't it?" He realizes that Taehyung is already here with him and it's his chance now.

Taehyung sat down on the sand, looking far ahead. So Jin joined him and sat next to him, maintaining a bit of distance as he's not sure if Taehyung is still mad at him or what.

"How are you?" Jin started to ask.

"I don't know. But don't get me wrong. I just approached you to tell you that I don't want you interfering with our team work. We have a serious tournament tomorrow, and being with you and your new boyfriend in my team isn't a good thing for me. You're a mere distraction."

Taehyung is pretty serious about the team games as he was chosen to be the team leader. And during their freshman year, his team was the champion of the event too. So he likes to maintain this title this year.

"That's what you wanted to say? How can you say that we'll be a distraction?! And for your information, if Jungkook is my boyfriend, I would be sitting here with him and not you!" Jin was a bit irritated to hear that Taehyung still thinks he's with Jungkook, when he's not even been hanging out with the latter that much anymore.

Taehyung let out a small laugh, "Look at you getting all worked up at the mention of your boyfriend. I didn't even say who he is and yet you already said it's Jungkook. You are too obvious ner--, Jin. Anyways, I just wanted to give you a warning, that's all." He stood up and started to walk away.

"Wait, Tae! Please, can we talk a bit more?" Jin yelled at him.

Taehyung stopped walking and faced him, "No."

Jin walked to him, "Tae, please. We can't get this going for long. If you don't want to talk to me, fine. At least read my letter please? It says everything I want to say. Remember you asked me to say what I want? I gave you a very short answer that time. But in the letter, I said it all. Don't you think I was being honest in what I wrote? Well, I'm sure you haven't read it yet. Coz if you did, you wouldn't be like this." He is now starting to cry in front of Taehyung.

However, Taehyung took a moment to understand what he's saying, "Letter? What letter?!"

"The one inside my g-gift. Hobi hyung said you have it. I-I know Jimin told you everything, hyung told me. And y-yes, part of it was true, but as we-"

"Stop! I don't want to hear your lies anymore. You just said it, what Jimin said was true. So there's no point of talking about it. Just.. just make sure you and your boyfriend act properly around me!! That's all I'm asking!" He then stormed off, not even minding about what Jin wants to say.

Jin just silently cried while watching Taehyung walk away. He wiped his eyes with his palm and thought the first attempt might not went well, but he will not just give up.

The next day.

All the students got ready for the initial game of the team building. They all wore their color-coded shirts and gathered with their team.

The first games were all simple, all of the members of the team get their chances to participate. Until it's Jin's turn. He didn't want to volunteer in the earlier games as he really didn't want to play at all. But now he's got no choice.

"Players need to be partners. Now, another member please step forward!"

Jungkook stepped forward but cut by the game master, "You just played at the last game, give chance to others please."

Jungkook rolled his eyes and motioned Namjoon to go. But before he can stand from the ground, Taehyung already stepped in front. "I'll do it then."

Jin tried to hide his smile. Taehyung, however, whispered to him, "I'm just doing this for the team."

"Okay." Jin said, but his stomach is circling with butterflies.

"The game is called 'eat my apple'. Basically, just eat up the apple hanged in between you two while your hands are tied at the back. The first one to finish the apple will be the winner of this round."

Jungkook clicked his tongue and glared at Namjoon, "Why me?! Am I the one who invented the game?"

Jin bit his lips, trying to hide his excitement. Taehyung did not miss this sight and cleared his throat when he realized he's staring at Jin's lips.

"Ahemm.. Just, j-just don't move. Bite down the apple, I'll do the eating."

"E-eating?! Ohh, okay." Jin smiled at him, but Taehyung maintained a straight face.

"Ok, on your mark.. Hana, dul, seht!"

Jin and Taehyung, with their hands tied at their backs, tried to stable the swinging apple between them by squeezing and pushing it against each other's cheeks, with a lot of times their cheeks touch each other. It made Jin blush too much feeling Taehyung's warm skin on his.

When they got the apple to stop from too much moving, Jin gently bit on it to keep it from swinging. Then Taehyung started to bite on it, eating the apple as fast as he can.

Almost finished, Taehyung bit to the apple and pulled back to get a bigger bite but Jin lost gripped with his teeth and the apple dropped to the ground.

Taehyung did not notice this so when he went back to Jin's face, he accidentally bit into his lower lip that made Jin let out a loud moan.

"Ah hmmm!!.." Jin gasped.

Both of them wide-eyed, they pulled back from each other trying to process what just happened. The purple team members wheezed loudly at the sight of their team leader and Jin, who they believe is his boyfriend as they've been seeing them in school together before.

Everyone was cheering and teasing the two, except Jungkook and his friends. But Taehyung and Jin just kept staring at each other. Until the game master announced that the yellow team won the round.

"This is your fault!!" Taehyung hissed at Jin.

Jungkook walked to them, "Hey, no blaming! Did you see what you just did with his lip?!" Jin's lower lip had a bit of blood forming on it, while his ears and neck are all red.

"Then what are you waiting for? Suck the blood from his lip then, it's what you always do right?!" Taehyung said to Jungkook then stomped away from them.
