6. Why do you keep teasing me?

Seokjin's P.O.V.

I really don't want to go to school today! If I weren't so stupid with sending my text messages last night, I wouldn't have an extra problem going to school today. But my mum will scold me if I don't go to school and she's gonna tell dad, which will make my life worse.

I have no plans of losing my first kiss to Taehyung. I imagine it to be with someone special. And that's definitely not him! I just need to get thru the day until Taehyung gives up on me. And I have just the perfect plan for today.

Beep!
Taehyung:
Morning nerdy! Meet me at the tree, ok? Be extra early, I hate waiting! I'm excited to see you.

What an impatient, demanding perv!! Ugghhh! Hmm... last minute checking – just to make sure I've got everything. Hot pack, box of tissues, water spray, eyeshadow, powder foundation... all check! Okay, let's go meet Taehyung!

Author-nim's P.O.V.

Jin has arrived in school but made a quick stop at the nearest bathroom before going to their meeting place, the infamous tree, where Taehyung is already waiting for him.

"I thought I told you I hate waiting!" Taehyung yelled and glared at him. His gaze suddenly softened as Jin comes closer looking all pale and weak.

"What happened to you, nerdy? Are you okay?"

*Cough*Cough* "Ughhoo.. uhmm, I'm actually not feeling well when I got up this morning. I just need to come to school because we have a quiz. And of course, I know you're waiting for me here." Jin said in a weak voice.

Taehyung touched his forehead, "You're burning hot, you have a fever. And look, you're sweating cold drops. Let's take you to the school clinic." He worriedly said.

"No, I'm fine. I already took my medicine." Jin's eyes are looking so glum, he had dark circles beneath his eyes. He looked so tired.

"Ok, if you say so, though you look like you could use some rest. Next time, just tell me if you're sick, okay? I shouldn't have bought these ice creams for us. That's why I was asking you to hurry up, coz they're going to melt." Taehyung opened a paper bag and showed it to him.

Jin's eyes widened when he saw two pints of Tillamook ice cream – one is his favorite flavor, strawberry shortcake and the other is a chocolate fudgy brownie. He gulped hard as he felt he's drooling over the delectable dessert he saw.

"Uhmm, it won't hurt if we have just a little, right?" Jin looked at Taehyung, as if begging.

"No! You already have colds and cough, your throat might be sore if you still eat ice cream. Uhmm, wait... let me just get rid of these." Taehyung jogged to the nearest trash can.

Waaahhh, noooo!! There goes my happiness straight into the trash. T_T_T_T_T

Before Jin can say anything, Taehyung already disposed off the ice creams.

"Ok, let's just go to class." He looked at Jin, now teary-eyed. "Hey, are you crying? Does something hurt? You must be feeling so tired. Do you want to go home?"

"No, it's okay." Jin sighed and took a tissue to wipe his eyes dry. When he put the tissue down, it was filled with black stain.

"Is that make-up?" Taehyung raised his eyebrows.

"N-no, it's no--" Jin was stopped from talking when Taehyung wiped his thumb over his plump lips.

"Is this.. Did you put foundation on your lips?! So you can look pale?? Huh, Kim Seokjin??" Taehyung stared daggers at Jin.

Jin can't keep himself from laughing as he saw Taehyung's 'pissed-off' face. "Haha, I'm sorry... I just.." before he can finish, he sprinted away as fast as he can when he saw Taehyung was about to grab him.

Taehyung ran after him while Jin laughs so loud like a glass-wiper and dashes into the school building. "Come back here, you deceiving nerd!!" He shouted at Jin, but he can't help but chuckle at his boyfriend's silly trick.

The quiz is now over and their teacher already headed out. Jin is fixing his things when he noticed someone standing in front of his chair.

"Hi Seokjin. Are you still mad at me? You didn't reply last night anymore," it was Jungkook.

Jin looked up to him and turned to look at the back at his two friends. They're staring at them too. Then he looked back at Jungkook.

"You shouldn't be talking to me. I don't want your friendship with them to be ruined." Jin said.

"No, of course not. Actually, they wanted to apologize to you." Jungkook motioned at Namjoon and Yoongi to come.

"Hey Kim Seokjin. We're really very sorry of what we've done." Yoongi said bowing 90 degrees in front of Jin.

Namjoon joined him too, "I hope you forgive us for touching you last time."

"I-.. Uhmm, i-it's okay. I hope you won't do it again." Jin said but his eyes are fixed on Jungkook.

"I'll make sure they won't." Jungkook smiled at him. His eyes blinked a lot and looked down, he can't win this staring contest with Jungkook.

"Wait for me at the gate, bro's. I'll just walk Jin outside." Jungkook said to Namjoon and Yoongi.

"Sure. You two uhmm, have fun?!" Yoongi made sure that Jin isn't looking anymore when he winked at Jungkook. The latter just smiled, licked his lips and looked at Jin.

"I'm sorry Jungkook, as much as I'd like to walk with you, I can't. Taehyung wouldn't want to see me walking with anyone else other than him."

"He's such a dictator! Is he really your boyfriend? Is that why you didn't reply anymore last night? Are you avoiding me?"

Jin stared into Jungkook's doe eyes as he speaks. He doesn't know how to contain the excitement he's feeling inside. At the same time, he's afraid that any minute Taehyung will arrive and see them talking.

"I-It's uhmm, really complicated how we ended up dating. But I really didn't want to be in a relationship yet if only I had a choice." Jin said looking down.

"Sure you have a choice Jin. Was he forcing himself to you? Do you want me to help you get rid of him?" Jungkook's words surprised Jin.

"Huh? Why would you do that? We know he's not an easy guy to get rid of. You'll just get in trouble."

"Well, that's how much I like you Jin. I'm willing to take the risk." Jungkook smiled at him, took Jin's hand and caressed it with his thumb.

Jin just looked down at their hands. He can't believe Jungkook is holding his hand right now, he doesn't look like he's breathing either.

The silence was broken by the sudden ringing of Jin's phone. Jin pulled his hand from Jungkook and gathered his things to head out. He looked at his phone,

"It's Tae. Sorry, I have to go." Jin walked towards the door but looked back when he heard Jungkook say,

"Think about what I said, Jin." Jungkook waved him goodbye and flashed his bunny smile.
