Chapter 15

TW // Blood, Death

George POV

Sapnap called me into the community house and I had to make sure Bad didn't show up. Sapnap must have gotten Punz or Dream messed up something. Dream. He is kinda twisted. Sapnap and Bad haven't seen him like I have. Sapnap has been friends with him longer than I have but they didn't meet up right away. Dream and I met in a fight, more like I signed up for something called a manhunt that Dream hosted. At first I didn't know Dream was hosting it. The flyer didn't have much information, other than the meeting time and destination.  His limit was two people and there was only one other name, which was Sapnap.

~Flashback~

We were standing there, ready for him to start running. The man we were supposed to call Dream was turning around waiting for the opportunity to run.

"Look over there!" he yells and my stupid self looks.

He runs past me and the Sap guy runs after him. I return my focus to Dream and start running after them. Dream had gotten ahead of us by a bit.

"Hey Snapmap!" I yell.

"Sapnap, but yes?"

"I'm going to give you a boost!"

"How?"

"Just be ready to jump once I punch you!"

"What?" he says and I punch him.

He jumps as I said and he catches up a bit. We start running through a desert biome and I spot a desert temple. Dream didn't see the temple and Sapnap was on his tail. I turn to the temple to loot it. Inside I break one of the orange blocks and jump down. I knew there was TNT under the floor so the ground is the first thing broken. The sound of a person dying is heard and I know Dream had made his way to the temple.

I grab the TNT quickly and start towering up. The chests only had a few pieces of iron, two golden apples, ten pieces of gunpowder, five strings, and an enchantment book. I wasn't able to check what enchantment the book had since Dream dropped down into the temple with me. He pulled out a wooden sword and started hitting me. I screamed and started towering up. I had to get this stuff to Sapnap or away from Dream at least.

"C'mere George!" Dream says.

The way he said that sent shivers down my spine. The fear it put inside me was strangely intense. Once I got to the top I ran towards the nearest tree. Crafting table, sticks, iron sword, and finding Sapnap. Pretty easy right? Wrong!

I turn and Dream is right there. What did he do to Sapnap? This man is crazy! He does this for fun? His mask was broken a bit, Sapnap must have broken it. I look at him in the eyes. They are red? At the beginning he took his mask off for a quick second and they were a blueish brown.  Taking a step back, I hit my crafting table and trip over it. I'm so stupid!

"Foolish mistake!" he says before the sword is plunged into my chest.

The pain makes me gasp for air but the pain stops. I'm back at the spawn, I've lost all the stuff and Dream has it now. The sound of clanging armor draws my attention to a cave in the distance. I slowly make my way towards it. Sapnap walks out scaring the crap out of me.

"Sippy cup!"

"Sapnap!" he says sternly and throws me a set of iron armor.

"Sorry, thanks!"

I quickly get the armor on and draw the sword that he also dropped. Sapnap pulls out a compass and it starts turning in all different directions until it slowly follows something.
