Chapter 5

TW // Blood, Needles

Y/N POV

I get in a ready stance and watch Bad stay in his place.

"Y/N, we are not going to fight. Our teams are enemies now, but you are still my friend." He says and then runs away.

I stand there for a few seconds before running off towards the other exit. Will is a few feet away behind a wall. I step out of the med bay and an arrow flies by my shoulder. I let out a yelp and dive behind the wall next to Will.

"Did they hurt you?" Will asks.

"No, I just hit his arm and he retreated." I lied.

My shirt is ripped from the arrow.

"Well at least you aren't hurt!" He says as he pulls out his bow to shoot.

"Don't worry about me! You're the one injured!" I say.

He peeks above the wall and shoots at who I think is Sapnap. I stand up and block the arrows with my sword. Will pulls me back down with him.

"Y/N, you started war!" He yells.

He leans on his arm where his stitches are and he hisses in pain.

"I know I started war but it was because of you!" I say before jumping over the wall to rush the tower.

Sapnap is at the top of it and I run to the ladder. I start climbing to the top.  Surprisingly, he doesn't notice me coming up the ladder. Since he didn't notice me, I sneak up behind him and put him in a headlock.

"Tell everyone to fall back." I whisper to him.

He struggles to speak but manages to say, "Dream is the only one!"

Holding him there, he tries to speak so I loosen my grip.

"How can I tell him?" I ask.

"Try finding him and changing his mind!" He says.

"You know Dream, once his mind is set on it he can't stop!"

"Exactly." Sapnap says.

I kick his bow away from him and push him against the wall. I then pin him there.

"Aren't we moving a bit too fast?" He asks while chuckling.

I groan and kick him in the stomach. He holds it as he falls to the floor.

"Stay or Wilbur will shoot you."

He stays on the ground and I yell to Will, "Keep your bow on the tower. Shoot at any movement!"

He nods and I climb down the tower. The boys are yelling and George is running towards them. I then hear the sound of TNT.

"Find cover!" I yell to the boys as they come into view.

We all dive or run behind something as the TNT blows up. The wall I am behind gets one block blown out of it. I get out from behind the wall and there is a big hole in the floor. I rush towards the boys.

"Tubbo!" I yell at him.

He yelps and starts backing away, "Get away! Get away!" He yells at me.

"Tubbo? It's me?"

I was too busy talking to Tubbo to realize Dream was behind me.

"Y/N! Thank you for letting us in!" He says with the crazed look in his eyes.

I swing my sword around just in time to block his axe.

"Aw! Looks like Bad trained you well!" He says as he swings his axe again.

I swing at his legs but he pulls out his shield too fast.

"Dream, listen! Please leave! I don't want you hurt!"

"Us? Hurt?" He laughs, "I'm going to hurt you!"

My eyes widen as I notice that Dream's eyes are red instead of green.  His mask was slightly lifted from his face making it so his eye was revealed.

"Y/N, your eyes were just like that," I hear Tubbo say.

I get distracted by Tubbo's comment and Dream kicks me making me fall backwards.  Dream walks forward while looking at the ground. He drags his axe behind him. I scramble to my feet and hold my ground ready for hi attack.   He laughs like a maniac. The laugh strikes fear in me, enough to make me tense up.  Dream must have noticed because he strikes at that time. Quickly, I move my sword in the way to block it.

Before he can make another move, I punch his mask and he stumbles back. He covers his face with his hands and shakes his head.  He looks up, part of the mask is chipped revealing more of his eye from what was uncovered.  The color is back to normal and what I assume is a confused expression is on his face. 

"What happened?" He asks.

"What happened? What happened? You just tried to kill us! You and your team!" Fundy yells from behind me.

Dream's eyes widen and he starts mumbling to himself before saying, "I'm sorry!"

He then runs away.

I hear in the distance, "Retreat!"

"Will, let Sapnap down the tower!"

I see all the members running down the field and into the tunnel. Fundy helps Tommy and Eret while Tubbo comes over to me.

"What the fuck just happened?" I turn to face Tubbo, "You lead them to our base!"

"I didn't know Will would come chasing after me!" I yell at him.

Tubbo and I start yelling at each other until we hear Will.

"Enough you two. Y/N has fucked up but it was kind of my fault." Will says as he holds the now bloody bandages.

The bandages catch my attention and I run up to him. His shirt is destroyed so I ripped it and wrapped it around his arm. I then just ripped off the rest of his shirt.

"Why did you do that?"

Laughing, "You're going to try and save that shirt?"

He fake pouts and we laugh. Eret goes to grab the blocks from the holes of the explosions. He starts placing them in their spots and we go help.

-------Time Skip A Few Hours-------

We finished fixing the grounds and cleaning up the blood. We all decided to go get some rest and tomorrow discuss plans. Will and I had to go to the med bay first so I can replace his bandages. Will lays on the bed again and I have him take the old bandages off and the ripped pieces of shirt. I grab another damp cloth and clean the blood. The stitches were already broken.

"Wilbur! You managed to break them already!" I say as I grab some tweezers to take out the thread.

"I was using a bow! Kind of hard to use it when you can't move your arm that much!" Will says but then starts again, "You also called me Wilbur, I must be in trouble."

I nod my head and come back with a stronger thread, "Well it is true but you should have thought of common sense!"

Wilbur groans and I hold him steady.

"Can I get a cloth for screaming?" He asks with a worried expression.

I chuckle and say, "You would have it you didn't break your stitches!"

He pouts and I laugh. His wound closes easier and he tries to hold in his screams. The others had heard the noise and walked in at that time.
