"Harry's pov "

She came, I have no clue why. She slips into the bench across from me, with ease.

And we fall into an awkward silence. Maybe talking about her family or something will help.

"How's your Mother, Step-dad, and brother? " I ask.

And she visibly tenses, fists clenched tight enough they turn white.

"Divorce, and good" she says, quietly.

"Darcy, I know I messed up, I was still in love with your mother, so hearing she was engaged, I lost it. I was so distant, because you seemed to like the guy, and I wasn't happy that you did. I'm sorry for that, and thousands of times I tried to find you, come back into your life, but your Mother told me you were happy, I should have checked, I should have asked you instead of just believing her."

Darcy Stays silent, sipping on the coffee she was brought.

"Yeah, I know that, now, well most of it. But you wanna know what a child would have thought?"

Before I could have answered, she started again.

"I thought I did something wrong, I felt like you started getting cold to me, because I messed up. When you freaked out, it was hours before they moved, I was going to tell you I wanted to stay with you, but then you freaked when I told you they were engaged, and kicked me, a six year old, on her birthday out. I ran back crying, and told them I wanted to move with them, then I did, and-"

She said, but suddenly stopped.

"Look, Harry, you seem genuine, so enough, I have your number, so I will think and then give you a call"

she said, as she dropped a 10 dollar note, and ran out.

What. The. heck?

"Darcy's pov "

I ran out on him, back to my car, and drove back towards my house. As I drove, I Dialed a number, one I haven't called in a while.

"Hello? Who is this?"

"Darcy" I choke out between sobs

"Darcy, Hey! What's up?"

"I need you" I sob, my voice shaking.

"be at yours in 20"

He says and hangs up. I blare the radio in hopes to clear my head.
