"Darcy's pov"
I wake up to an empty bed, and sigh, this is how it's going to be for 5 more weeks.
I go downstairs, and see that Maria is still asleep, that's when my phone rings, I bolt to answer it, before it wakes her up.
"Hello?" I say quietly, as I shut her bedroom door, and sit on the couch.
"Hey Babe" Luke says, and I instantly smile.
"Oh! Hey! How are you?" I ask
"Good, i'm good, tired. How are you, and Maria?"
"I'm doing alright, and Maria is good" I say
"Shouldn't you be asleep, its like 2 there?" I ask, adding on to my answers.
"I wanted to hear your voice"
"I miss you" I say, on my end, even though it's only been two weeks.
"I miss you too"
"I'm thinking of coming to visit you soon" I say, a grin breaking out, and if its possible, I hear Luke smile through the line.
"That Would be great! When would you be thinking of coming?"
"Maybe around the second weekend in February?"
"So Far Away" He wines, making me chuckle.
"Closer then 7 weeks, and it almost marks the half way point."
"Okay" He says, sounding so tired.
"Luke, honey, go get some sleep, I love talking to you, but you need it"
"Okay Baby, I love you"
"I love you too, goodnight"
"Good morning" He says, and I hang up.
"What to do today?" I think aloud.
Maybe I could have a BBQ, invite the Family and get to know them better.
Okay, sounds good.
