"Darcy's pov"
"Luke, where do you think you would be right now, if I wasn't in the picture?"
I ask as we lay in the park, watching Maria and her friends play.
"Honestly, probably six feet under, because you and Maria are my life."
I just smile, and squeeze his hand. It's 2038 now, and Maria turned four last week. So her and a few of her friends are playing, or should I say kids she just met. Luke and I are still Engaged, our wedding is in 3 weeks.
"It's almost 8, we should be getting home, since we skype with your parents."
"Yeah, you can go ahead and call them if you want, I promised Maria ice-cream, if she let me practice this morning." I say with a sheepish grin, and he smiles.
"Okay Babe, I will bring everything?"
"Okay." I confirm, and watch him walk away, not before one last kiss.
A ball comes in my direction and I smile and throw it back.
Life has finally thrown some good things my way, and it was amazing.
"MARIA, WE HAVE TO GO IF YOU WANT SOME ICE-CREAM" I yell out, and she immediately started to say goodbye. She waved over her shoulder, and ran to me, giving me a big hug, as I spin her in circles.
"To the ice-cream parlor?"
"Yeah!"
She says, and she skips holding my hand, on our way there.
The whole way, she tells me stories about her and her friends.
Everything really is falling into place.

After we get home, We talk to Luke's parents, and I get Maria into bed.
I decided to work on what i'm doing for the wedding, I'm making a custom backdrop of Luke and I, for at the Reception, as well as a speech, and we're writing our own vows. It may seem like a lot, but we wanted it to all be personal.
Then my phone lights up, and it's my Dad, so I take it.
"Hey Dad!"
"Hey BabyDoll!"
"How are you?"
"Good, just working on my Vows."
"Found a dress yet?"
I sigh "I'm waiting, so I can go with Alice"
"You sure, she already said you can go without her, and if you wait you only have 3 days until the wedding."
"I'm sure Daddy."
"Okay, Love you."
"Love you too."
Then we hang up.
where was I?
"Luke, I have loved you, since I was 15, the second I set my eyes on you, I knew you were special, and look where that got us, Our Wedding..............."
