"Darcy's Pov"
"Dad! Alice! Hi" I say, as Luke went to throw the lobster tails in the pot.
"Hey Babydoll" Dad says with a smirk.
"Darcy" Alice says, hugging me.
As i'm about to shut the door, everyone else shows up. I greet them all, and the all go into the living room.
"Everyone, meet Luke" I say, and they all welcome him with smiles, and handshakes, though my Dad doesn't look to happy. So I shoot him a "What the heck" Look. He Just Shrugs.
"Okay" I say as I clap. "How does everyone like their steaks?"

"Bye! Talk soon." Everyone other than my Dad and Alice just left, it has gone well so far.
I throw on a pot of coffee, and my Dad walks in to the kitchen, I look around him, and see Alice and Luke by the pool, outside.
"So that's your Fiance?" He says but it seems more like a question
"Yeah, what do you think of him?" I ask, because even though I haven't had him in my life for long, it would still be nice to have his approval.
"He seems, interesting" He says as I pass him two coffee's.
We walk outside, and my Dad starts pounding Luke with questions..
"So did you graduate?"
"No, Bu-"
"Okay, so do you just sing?"
"No, I Al-"
"Okay-"
I cut him off in the middle of what he is saying by pushing him in the pool, but I get pulled in, too..
"Luke's pov"
It's kind of getting awkward, being asked all these questions, but Darcy pushed him in the pool, so I start laughing, and so Does Alice.
They Stare at each-other, and he whispers something in her ear, and she nods.
"Luke, can you help me out?"
"Yeah Alice, can you help me out?"
We both get up to do so, bad mistake, because now i'm in the air, almost in the water.
"Darcy's pov"
That worked well, after we got out of the pool, we just laid to dry off, and now the boys are talking about sports.. So I motion Alice to come with me.
"Yeah Darcy?" She asks, after we're inside.
"Well, I thought you might want to come dress shopping with me, for the wedding I mean?" I ask shyly.
"Aw Darcy, Yes if you want me to."
"Yes I do" I say, and she hugs me tightly
"Whens the wedding?"
"Around a year, or so away, because of both of our busy schedules"
At that she nods, and I feel like I still have a Mom, even though I didn't have mine how I wanted her for long.

"That went decent" I say as I collapse on our bed. I feel Luke nod, and we both doze off, wrapped in each-others arms.
