"So Harry, that was your daughter? " I ask, to confirm, as we sit on the couch in our flat.

"Yeah" He says with a huge grin.

Holy, she is gorgeous..

"So why did she Want to talk to you, outside I mean"

"She told me she was gonna give me a chance, but she doesn't forgive me, or trust me yet, I still need to earn it."

He says, with a sigh, grin never faltering.

"How are you taking this, I mean having a step-daughter and all?"

How was I taking it, I couldn't have kids, and I always wanted one, It shouldn't be too hard, I want to make an effort.

"Good, I always wanted a kid, and well you know, so really good."

"I'm gonna try to get to know her, and stuff."

I say

"How so?"

"I'm still thinking.. " I say, and He smiles mumbling something about his two favorite girls.

That's when it came to me, I will text her now, though I doubt she will reply until tomorrow.

Hi Darcy, I was wondering if you wanted to go out shopping and get spa treatments and stuff tomorrow? I can book them, and it's all on your dad ;) Let me know? If need be, Maria can come.

I wake up and check my phone, it's 10:15 am, I'm so glad Maria loves to sleep. I grab my cell phone, and see a message from Alice.

She wants to go shopping and to the spa, seems legit, and it's free, plus I might Gain a mother figure- no that's thinking to far ahead.

Hey Alice! I would love too, and I can pawn Maria off onto my brother for the day, he is complaining he needs "Bonding time" with her anyways.
