You were running after Harry and Hermione, who found Ron lying on some sort of bed with a blood-covered leg. You knew about Sirius being your father, but you didn't know how he looked like because you have never seen him before.
He was sent to Azkaban after you were born and he hadn't had the chance to hold you in his arms for once.
You saw Remus enter the room and hugging Sirius. "Sirius, I think you should meet your daughter, Y/n", he said. "But you probably have to wait to spend time with her. She seems... really terrified." Remus was right. You were terrified. But you were also happy, you get to meet your father.
"I did my waiting! Twelve years of it!", Sirius yelled. "I want to get to know my daughter!"
Yes, Sirius was in Azkaban, but he isn't a heartless person. His dream was to meet you, to spend time with you, to pretend, that he had never left.
Although he didn't know you at all, he knew one thing: he already loved you, as if he has never been gone. You had to fight against the tears, who fought back, waiting to leave your eyes, but you didn't want to cry.
You just ran to Sirius and hugged him tightly and he hugged back. You finally got to know your father and this was the most amazing moment in your life.
