Ever since the sorting ceremony, you had been friends with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. You've always been helping each other with everything and you took part in their adventures.
Throughout the years, Ron and you have gotten closer and you eventually admitted to yourself that you had fallen for the red-haired boy. Only Hermione knew about you crushing over him. You were scared that if you told Ron, your friendship will be ruined.
It's now the seventh year in Hogwarts, everything seemed to become darker and darker. Harry decided that it had been time to go and hunt the Horcruxes in order to defeat Voldemort and finally live in peace but after Salazar Slytherins locket was found, Ron started to accuse you of not being a good friend. He said stuff like "You always just think about yourself!" or "You don't appreciate any help you get!", which was complete nonsense.
He only did that because he was wearing the locket, of course, you didn't know this but after everything he told you, you were sad and angry about Ron's attitude but didn't say anything. Instead, you left.
While you were still running through the dark and lonely corridors of Hogwarts, you suddenly hear someone yelling your name from behind. You stop and turn around. Its Hermione. She comforts you and you talked for the rest of the day.
The next morning Hermione woke you up completely panicked. When she told you, that Harry and Ron were fighting against death eaters, you immediately sat up, dressed as quickly as possible, and helped the two boys.
They fought for a while, but the enemies were too strong, so they ended up being captured.
Hermione, Harry, and Ron were brought into the dungeons of the Malfoy Manor after they had arrived there. Bellatrix decided to enjoy your presence, meaning: she wants to torture you to get answers about the four of you hunting the Horcruxes. "Tell me!" she screamed at you, but you didn't say a word.
She didn't torture Harry because the Dark Lord forbid it, so she picked you.
But before Bellatrix was able to even do anything, Ron saved you. He somehow managed to escape from the dungeon. "I got you," he whispered and you fell into his arms.
Hermione and Harry tried to distract the others and you mumbled a "thank you" to Ron. Then, you apparated to the Burrow. You had some bruises all over your body, but apart from that, the four of you were safe and sound.
You then laid down on the couch and tried to sleep, but you couldn't. Harry whispered something into Hermione's ear, she nodded, and then they left you and Ron alone.
"How are you?" he asked you while holding your hand tightly. "Been better," you answered, still a little bit shocked.
"You can't imagine how worried I've been about you," he whispered. You squeezed his hand a little bit, "I'm good, Ron. Really."
"I Uhm... I'm sorry about what I said... yesterday. I didn't mean it. The truth is, I really like you. Not like you as a friend, but as having a crush... on you," he confessed, blushing. You smiled at him and told him, that you've also had liked him for a while now.
Ron grinned but tried to hide it. When you said, "I love you, Ronald Weasley" he turned around. "I love you too, Y/n Y/l/n."
And from that moment on, you were inseparable.
