You and Cedric have been dating for nearly 5 years and today you decided that it was time for him to meet your family.
"Y/n, do you think they will gonna like me?", Cedric asked you nervously.
"Of course they will, Ced", you replied with a smile. You were excited about your parent's reaction. You were getting ready to go to your parent's house and Cedric was ready to finally meet your parents. You've told him about them a few times before.
They could get really overprotective, especially your father. You're his little girl and if Cedric ever does something to you, which I honestly don't think he will, your father will comfort you and get you everything you need.
"Come on Ced, we're late!", you said. "Coming! Coming..." Cedric replied.
~At your parent's house~
"Relax, darling", you comforted him (Kol Mikaelson vibes ;) ). "You're gonna be alright."
"I know, I'm just nervous, I mean, do you think your father-"
"Yess, I do", you quickly interrupted. "Just calm down. Everything's gonna be alright." And with that, you knocked on the door. Your mother opened it and hugged you, "Honey! It's good to see you!" She let go of you and looked at Cedric, smiling.
"You must be Cedric. Y/n has already told me so much about you! It's very nice to finally meet you, dear", she said and also hugged Cedric. "Please, come in you two." Your mother went inside and you and Cedric followed her.
"Y/f/n (your father's name)! Y/n and her boyfriend are here!", your mother told your father. You saw him come downstairs looking at Cedric for a second and then hugging you.
"Y/n! It's so good to see you again!"
"It's good to see you too, dad", you returned.
"So, you are that Cedric boy my daughter is dating...", he slowly said. "Nice to meet you." Your father smiled at him and shook his hand.
You were glad your parents like Cedric. The boys you've dated before were... lets just say... not the right ones.
Cedric was also glad that your parents liked him. This was the first time he got nervous about someones parents..
