You were running through the corridors as fast as you could. Your next class was Potions, and Professor Snape, your father, hates it when someone is too late, and he doesn't care if it's his daughter/son.
When you opened the Potions classroom door everyone was looking at you. "I'm ... sorry, Professor," you said and went to your seat.
But what you hadn't heard: "Neville, ..." whispered Ron. "I should ask Y/n out on a date, don't you think?"
Neville only nodded briefly, then there was a noise and you winced. Snape hit Ron with the newspaper. Ron immediately stopped talking to Neville about you and the Parvati twins held in their laughter.
"No. I do not think so, Mister Weasley," Snape said coldly and without any emotion. "I think... you should concentrate... on your tasks... and talk... less."
"Of... of c-course professor", Ron stuttered and continued working on the task he was given.
A snicker could be heard here and there. You were confused about what happened here, but it didn't stop you from doing the task you were given.
