The fireworks were deafening.

And also a perfect distraction to help escape.
Your hands slipped out of his, even as his fingers intertwined with yours. Sakusa took as moment to piece together what you has said.

"You can't fix yourself Kiyoomi."

As the words held their weight, you rushed down from the roof, petrified about what you has just done. A confession. What good would that do? It's not like it could magically change Sakusa's feelings, and barely helped you receive any closure. But you were sick of hiding it. The feeling itself made you sick in the first place. As the crowd swallowed you whole, Sakusa looked around frantically, trying to spot where you had slipped away.
But it was too late. You were already gone, and he knew better than to chase after you this time. Staring down at your feet, you skipped 2 steps at a time, an anxious pit erupting in your stomach.

Haru, who was leaning on the nurse's office doorway saw you swiftly walk past her, heightening her concern. She knew confessions to Sakusa wouldn't go smoothly, but she knew your condition could only worsen depending on his reaction. Sliding her feet, she called out to you as she watched you head to the exit.

"(y/n)?! (Y/N) WAI-"
Before she could finish her sentence, a hand gripped her shoulder.

Komori was at her side, a warm smile plastered across his face. "She's certainly in a hurry."
Lowering her pointer-finger, she sighed.
"Yeah- where's your cousin?"
Haru glanced over his shoulder at the empty hallways behind them. Komori bit the inside of his cheek, a sudden realization hitting him.
"On the roof." he responded dryly.
Shaking her head in disbelief, she turned to head towards the stairs. Her arm getting caught behind her. Komori held onto it, his head hanging loosely. "Don't go." he begged.
Taken aback by this, she stopped for a second, turning to face him once more.
"Can I help you with something?" She asked.
Quickly hiding the sadness in his voice, Komori chuckled. "You have a car so- mind giving me a ride to the pharmacy?" he asked cheerfully.
