02; corbyn's girlfriend

the bell rung after second period. finally I'm out of that dreadful math class and going to lunch. I walk through the doors looking for mine and my friends usual spot and see 3 of the girls together. I quickly rush over.

"hey bitchesss. missed me?" I greet them

"girl I literally just saw you in english class" Alyssa said.

Alyssa's my best friend, other than Corbyn of course. I've known her the longest and have spent the most time with her. we just connect more.

"yeaaa and Ally tells us Mr. Corbyn Besson is back as a brunette now. What happened to the little soft blonde boy" Sierra jokes.

"Ok first he was never little, second maybe he's gone for a new aesthetic cause of his new girlfriend"

"I'm sorry-"

"His what?"

"Girlfriend?" Luna finally finishes the sentence. we tend to do that a lot.

As I was about to tell them who exactly his girlfriend is, Julia rushes over and sits down with an angry sigh.

"What's gotten you so tense?" I say. It's only the first day and she already stressing.

"My dumbass chemistry teacher already gave us some lab that we have to do and I haven't even had time to process the lesson she just taught."

"Anyways, what were y'all talking about, I need to distract myself."

"Corbyn's girlfriend." Luna says before I could. This is gonna be fun. Julia hates Madison almost as much as I do.

Let's just say freshmen year wasn't exactly easy for Julia and Madison was the one to make sure of that.

"Who, Where, When, Why, and How?"

Here goes nothing.

"Madison Turner, on a cruise ship, during summer, don't know why, don't know how." I say in one breath. And after that all their eyes widened and all their jaws dropped.

"Is he dumb or fucking dumb?"

"Gotta be the second one."

"Please tell me one of our friends, your best friend, is not dumb enough to date Madison Turner who not only bullied me but you too?"

"Well clearly he-"

"Hey ladies" Jack says as all the boys, minus Corbyn, walk over to our table.

We all return his hi except Alyssa who just roles her eyes and continues to eat her salad. "Damn you must really be into that salad that you couldn't even say hi back princess."

"Please Avery, you're not worth the extra breath"

We all giggle as Jack rolls his eyes all annoyed. Jonah takes his seat next to Sierra, as Daniel and Zach sit at the end on either side and Jack sits next to me across from Alyssa.

We all get into our own conversation as someone approaches our table.

"Can we sit somewhere alone babe?" I hear Madison say. I hope I was the only one to hear that or else Alyssa wouldn't be able to hold back from saying something.
