Twins In Traffic

Delilah was over due with her twins. She had woken up to some small pains but they were far apart and they were not very bad. She decided that she needed to go shopping for some last minute things for the babies so she grabs her keys and leaves her house. When she got to the store she started to feel more of the pains. They were a little bit stronger but they were not bad.

"You two need to calm down a little bit. I am ready to meet you but I have a few more things to get before you make your appearance." Delilah said as she was rubbing her stomach. She climbed out of the car and made her way inside. She got some diapers and wipes for the babies as well as some outfits. She had walked around the store for almost an hour before the pains started to get worse and closer. She had started timing them to see how far apart they were and how long they lasted.

"You two just take your time in there." She said. Shw rubbed her stomach and noticed that it was getting hard again. She felt another contraction hit her and she gasped because this one was stronger than the last ones.

"Ma'am are you alright?" A worker asked her.

"Yeah I am fine. One of the babies just kicked me in the ribs and it hurt a little bit." Delilah told them.

"Aww how many are you expecting?" The worker said.

"I am expecting twins."

"That has to be exciting. When are you due. You look ready to pop."

"I am actually two weeks over my due date. I definitely feel like I am about to pop." Delilah said. Another contraction hit her and she winced a little bit. The worker didn't see it because they had turned to put something on the shelf.

"Anyways I will leave you be so you can get back to your shopping. Bye." The worker said as they picked up the now empty box off the floor and walked away. Delilah felt another contraction again and whimpered from the pain it caused. She decided that since they were about fifteen minutes apart she was done shopping so she slowly made her way up to the front to check out. After she was done the contractions were still fifteen minutes apart so she headed home. She put all of the baby stuff away and took a nap before she headed to the hospital. Her doctor recommended her to go to the hospital when they were five or ten minutes apart because she would be closer to having the baby then.

She slept for a while before she woke up to a contraction that hurt ten fold that she fell asleep to. She decided to get up and head to the hospital not. As soon as she stood she felt a pop and a gush of water.

"Well looks like I have to go there now. Hang in there a little while longer little ones. I will have you in my arms soon." Delilah said as she changed her clothes. She was timing the contractions and saw they were five minutes apart now and lasting thirty seconds.

"Okay you two are eager to meet the world." She said as she felt a strong kick. She places her hand over where she felt the kick as she climbed I to the car. She drove for thirty minutes before the contractions started to be on top of each other and she felt a horrible pressure on her pelvis.

"Ahh this hurts so bad. Hold on I have theory more minutes before we are there." She cried as she felt another contraction rip through her body. Suddenly she felt the need to push. She hit her steering wheel when she felt the pain. She would have been closer to the hospital bit the traffic right now is really bad.

"I'm sorry but I can't do that baby. Ahh. Somebody please make this stop." She cried. She could feel the ring of fire as rhe baby's head tried to push it's way out of her. Since she was stopped she reached into the back seat and grabbed a blanket out of her bag.

"Since you are not wanting to wait I will have to do this here in the car." She said. She undid her seatbelt and softly pushed. She cried out as the baby started to stretch her.

"Ahh I hate this so much. I just want it over. I can't do this." She cried as she pushed down. Shw cursed under her breath as the car in front of her started to move some. She stopped pushing and focused on driving but she could still feel the baby sliding out slowly as her body worked to push it out. Once she stopped again she pulled her pants down and tried to see the baby's head that was emerging but her stomach was in the way.

"AHH. GOD THIS HURTS SO MUCH." She yelled as she pushed as hard as she could. She felt the head pop out as well as a gush of fluids.

"I can almost hold you little one. You are almost out." She said as she began to pant. The car in front of her began to move and she stopped focusing on pushing and she focused on driving. She cried out as she felt the shoulder begin to emerge. She lifted her hips off the seat so the baby would have enough room. She placed one hand under the baby to support it while she was driving. After the second shoulder can out she gave one final push and the baby slid out.

"Oh my god I just had a baby in my car." She said as she lifted the baby to her chest. She stopped driving again because of traffic and flipped the baby upside down and patted it's back until it started to cry.

"There you go. Aww it's a girl." She said. She wrapped the baby in the blanket that she had in her lap and grabbed the second one from the back seat to lay over her exposed legs.

"Now we just have to get to the hospital before your twin decides to come. Hopefully this traffic will let up some." Shw said as she cradled the baby to her chest as she started driving. Before long she felt the contractions again. It didn't take long before she felt the need to push.

"Fuck I should have left the house sooner. Maybe I would not be having to do this on my own." She cried. She went with her urge and began to push. She cried our as she felt the burning of the head beginning to crown.

"Come on baby." She yelled as she pushed down again. The traffic had cleared up and she was driving to the hospital as soon as she could.

"Damn it I am not going to make it to the hospital now. You are being even more impatient that your sister." Delilah said. She began to push as hard as she could. She began to cry as the baby's head made it to the widest point.

"Agh I can't do it. This hurts to much." She cried. She pushed as hard as she could again. She cried in relief as the baby's head popped out. She checked for the cord around the vaise head before ahe started pushing. She pushed as hard as she could even after the contraction ended until the baby slid out of her.

"And this one is a baby boy. Of course you decided you had to be out right before I got here." Delilah said as she pulled into the hospital. She had called them ahead of time to tell them she was in her way. She and the babies got checked out to make sure they were all right.
