meeting

Sitting in an office room for hours is boring but it is even worse sitting in the conference room with contractions tearing through your body because the babies decide they want out but this is a meeting that Lauren can't miss.

"Lauren you need to pay attention to this meeting." Her boss told her as she had zoned out trying to focus in nit crying out because of the contractions.

"Yes ma'am I am sorry. I will pay better attention." Lauren said. The contraction had passed and she was happy. She saw one of her coworkers look over at her with a concerned face.

"Are you okay?" She asked. Lauren shook her head and squeezed her he as another contraction tore through her.

"Shit. Jamie can we hurry this along I think Lauren is in labor." Her coworker said. All the eyes in the room snapped over to her but she didn't care she felt the burning of the head trying to make it's way out.

"Well she will have to wait. We still have three hours to go." Jamie said. She was always so stuck up.

"The baby is not waiting. It's head is already trying to make it's way out." Lauren yelled as another contraction raked through her body. She felt two of her coworkers grab her hands.

"This meeting is not over so she will have to wait now back to what we were talking about." Jamie said as she went back to the presentation.

"It's okay. We will help you through this. Jessica grab that blanket from over there. Lauren I am going to lay you down on the ground and pull your pants off. I am going to cover you so that no one will see you." One of the coworkers said. She nodded as she started to push because the pain was becoming too much.

"What ever you have to do it better not dirsurb this meeting or all of you will be fired." Jamie said earning gasps from everyone in the room. They laid Lauren down on the ground and coaxed her through the next contraction. There was a knock on the door and the office manager walked in.

"What the hell is going on in here?" He asked when he saw the scene in front of him.

"Lauren is having her baby and Jamie has decided that she can't leave the meeting so we are helping her have it right here. The baby's head is almost out." One of the coworkers said. The manager ran over to them and sat down beside Lauren.

"Jamie you are fired. Do you know how dangerous it is for her to have the baby here. Someone call an ambulance now. This meeting is over." The manager yelled as Lauren pushed down. The contractions were getting worse and the burning feeling of her hole getting stretched was getting worse.

"Help it hurts so much." She cried as she pushed down again. The baby's head pipes out and the pain temporarily went away. She relaxed some but went back to push when the pain returned.

"Come on you are so close. The head is out know all you have to do is get the shoulders out. Give me a big strong push." The manager said. Lauren screamed when the shoulders emerged.

"Make it stop please." She started crying even harder now. She pushed down again and the baby slid right out.

"Here give me a shoe string and some scissors to cut this baby's cord." The manager said as he had now moved down to hold the baby. After the cord was cut and tied the blanket was pulled over Lauren and the baby was laid against her chest. The ambulance came and she was taken to the hospital to make sure that she and the baby were both healthy. The only thing no one knew was that baby was the managers baby.
