Author POV

It was supposed to be a normal day. Well, as normal as it could be for the batfam. And to be fair it was a normal day, until Jason went in the Batcave.

See, Jason never went into the Batcave. Nobody knew why, but he never did. They all ways talked about missions during dinner or lunch if Jason was included. But never in the Batcave, until one day Red Hood got injured. Not that much, just a small concussion after which, he went unconscious. Took a hard hit to the head.

"Uhm, no serious wounds, just a small concussion." Red Robin quickly diagnosed.

"Quick take him to the Batcave, let Alfred have a look." Nightwing panted, still tired from the mission. 'Batman' quickly took Red Hood and hurried to the Batcave. "Not the Batcave." Red Hood mumbled, still not fully conscious. Nobody listened.

When they reached Alfred the ninja butler was waiting for them ready with a bed, having known of the problem because they called him on comms. Cass and Damian who had stayed behind were also there.

Soon enough, Jason was fully healed but still resting, but had not woke up yet. Alfred made everyone get out, because sitting there is not helping anyone. "You will all go upstairs to have dinner, as you can see Master Jason is perfectly fine. Yes, you too, Master Bruce." Alfred stated firmly.

After dinner everyone went down into the 'basement' as they wanted to see Jason, and then debrief the mission. As much as they punch each other they absolutely love each other. Did I say that before? Whoops. It's true though.

Anyway, they all went down to see Jason not on the bed. How surprising! That was sarcasm and I'm sure everyone expected it.

"Where's Jason? Jay-son!" Dick shouted. Which was dumb considering Jason was right there. Well in front of the case. The Case. The Box. The Torn Costume. The Failure.

Everyone froze when they saw Jason there. Staring at the case with his old Robin uniform. Mumbling incoherent words. Tears were trailing down his face, with the saddest expression anyone has ever seen on his face, or on anyone in fact! He was having a panic attack.

Cass and Damian were the first to snap out of the trance as they ran towards him, footsteps echoing in the silent cave.

"Little brother okay. Little brother not hurt. She held him as he slowly fell onto his knees. Damian was next to Jason too, side hugging him and giving comfort (later they would use the security cams to take picture of that, for blackmail). Tim ran to him next and so did Dick.

But Bruce was frozen, standing at the same spot as if his legs were glued to the floor. "Bruce, help! Anyone help!" Jason screamed, tears flowing down. He pleaded, moaned, yelled, whimpered the same thing again and again. It was torture for everyone.

Finally, Batsy moved! That's right folks he moved finally! He bent down to hug Jason mumbling sweet nonsense words. Soon Jason calmed down and slept, along with the whole fam.

Alfred took a picture and then proceeded to put a blanket around them. The picture was hung up, and whenever someone removed the picture, five minutes later it would be replaced. Nobody touches it anymore. And if the next day Cass might have taken a bat (the batbat) and hit the glass case shattering it, well... nobody noticed or said anything about it)

Sorry for the late chapter. I'm just running out of ideas. And if it seems that I dislike Bruce, you are right. I don't hate him, I'm just not fond of him. Like dude! And did you know he practically disowned Jason before Jason went to find his mother. And- Sorry sorry, if I don't stop myself now i might completely rant. Anyway stay safe people!
