A week had gone by and I still had no clue of who had written the letters- too much was going on! But when it came to writing a letter to Mum, I decided not to tell her- she would only worry more! I wrote:
Dear Mother,
I am really missing you- Mae decided to hide under the mistresses chair to meet them!!! (Well to meet her feet anyway)! I wish you were here, I have a bed under the casement so I wake up early when the sun rises!
Love,
Mia. Xxxx
A few days later, Mums letter came back saying:
Dear Mia
This is your father. Your mother is in tears because of the letter you sent her. It was rude and horrible- I don't know what your playing at! I am extremely cross with you! I have a good mind to take you away from that school if that's what they teach you!
From Dad
I could bearly breathe- I hadn't sent that letter, had I? I was beginning to think was going mad! I decided to tell Carrie, she was the only one I could trust so far, before I could be sure that they hadn't written the letters.
