What's this? A train?!
The heroes found themselves next to a field.
The field was so big.
"Luckily," said a voice. "We have something to help us get partially across the field!"
Act 7, Part 1: Trek on a Train
Out of nowhere came a train that was painted in all the colors of the rainbow.
The four stepped onto the train.
They sat down in seats made of leather.
"Welcome to the Rainbow Express!" The voice from before proclaimed. "Keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times."
As she said this, a violet safety bar came down on their stomachs.
"Now," the voice boomed. "Enjoy the ride, and ciao!"
The train began to slowly move across the tracks.
"This should be a nice change from the dangerous Hades rollercoaster," said Celine.
The rollercoaster was approaching a dark tunnel, suddenly.
Then the train descended into the dark tunnel.
"The ride might get a little rough," warned the voice.
Suddenly, the train began to speed up in pitch darkness.
"What is this? A freak out?!" Alicia angrily shouted.
"Slow down!" Screamed Celine.
But the voice misinterpreted the plea.
"What's that? Go faster? Okay." it said. The train then sped up.
Then a song started to play.
"There's no earthly way of knowing
Which direction we are going
There's no knowing where we're rowing
Or which way the river's flowing
Is it raining?
Is it snowing?
Is a hurricane a-blowing?
Not a speck of light is showing
So the danger must be growing
Are the fires of hell a-glowing?
Is the grisly reaper mowing?
Yes!
The danger must be growing
For the rowers keep on rowing
And they're certainly not showing
Any signs that they are slowing!"
As the song said those final lines, the tunnel turned an evil red color, and the most earth shattering scream was heard. Then a chorus of screams echoed throughout the area as the train plunged down a terrifying, near-vertical drop.
Ten stories down, the train landed hard, and everyone fell out.
"Oh, my head..." groaned Celine.
"Look, we're across the field." said Larry.
"But it'll take ages to walk across the rest of it." said Mable.
"I'll help you." said a twinkling voice.
