ryan -a couple months later-
today is my graduation. i'm happy i'm finally done. everyone's here. the whole ceremony happened already. now i'm trying to find them. as i start to pull out my phone, i can hear jill's voice.
"ryan!" i look up and see a smiling jill. i squeal and run to her and she wraps her arms around me.
"i'm so proud of you." she says. she lets go and i hug the guys.
"i'm so proud of you baby girl." skate says kissing my head. i thank him and then scan the group again as jill hands skate her phone. no Jack. we haven't really talked the last couple of months since the derek situation. he's just kinda been mia. i let it happen. jill said i needed to stop forgiving him. and i agree. i pose for a couple pictures with jill and then guys and then we decide to head out for dinner. skates cooking so we all decide to meet there.

-at skates-
"i can't believe you finished. i'm so proud." jill says leaning her head on my shoulder.
"thank you." i plop a grape in her mouth and then mine.
"and look who's arrived."
"aye! gilinsky!"
oh lord." jill stands up straight and i laugh.
"i've brought company." johnson walks into the kitchen with Jack trailing behind him. i go to say soemthing but cut myself off as i see a girl walk in after him. she clings to his side as they come to a stop.
"congrats ry." he sets the roses on the counter.
"who's that?" i point to the blonde. jill smacks my arm
"this is dakota. dakota that's ryan and jill." jill waves and i just kinda stand there.
"hi. congratulations." she smiles warmly at me.
"thanks."
"okay well. we're going back that way." johnson turns the couple around and they walk out. jill then turns to me
"what the actual fuck." i shrug
"i have no fucking clue what just happened." skate walks in the kitchen and looks at me
"what just happened?"
"we have no clue." both jill and i say at the same time.
"do i need to call derek?" i roll my eyes and flip him off. i'm upset i'm not gonna lie but this isn't new from Jack. it's sad to say i'm used to it.
