Sofia's POV
I ran into his arms.
"God, I've missed you Seraphina" He said
"It has been a while hasn't it?" I replied
"A couple thousand years." He stroked my hair.
"A couple thousand too many" I whispered back. He lifted my chin with his hand and gazed into my eyes.
"You look beautiful as ever, my dear." He said. I blushed and smiled.
"You don't look too bad yourself Shy." I replied smugly. He let go and rolled his eyes playfully. "So you've been here this whole time?"
"For the past few years, yes. How long have you been working here?" He asked
"I started last week. I'm so glad I've finally found you." I said truthfully. He kissed my forehead.
"Me too, my love, me too." He replied. I gave him a serious look.
"You haven't been messing with Ryan too much have you?". He gasped dramatically.
"Of course not dear, though with Unsolved I'll have plenty of opportunities." He said with a smirk. I smacked his arm lightly.
"Don't take it too far Shyamil." I scolded. He laughed.
"I would never." He said with his hands up defensively. I giggled.
"I'm watching you." I said. He grabbed my hand gently and gave it a kiss.
"I know you are, my love" He replied with a handsome smile. We sat there and talked more. Catching up for all the lost time.3rd POV
Shyamil and Seraphina, otherwise known as Shane and Sofia (Their mortal names) were star crossed lovers. Kind of like Romeo and Juliet. They met many lifetimes ago and fell in love, not long after, they discovered each others secret. Shyamil was a demon and Seraphina was an angel. It didn't bother them, but the other angels were worried that he would ruin her pure soul with his evil . A demon and an angel together? That couldn't end well, so they were separated. It had been exactly 2875 years since they last saw eachother. They spent every waking moment longing for eachother, waiting for the day where they would hopefully meet again.
They sat there in each other company until Ryan came back with the coffee. He gave them their drinks and sat at his desk. He noticed how Shane was seated in his chair and Sofia was sitting on his desk.
"So, are you two getting along?" Ryan smirked. Sofia smiled at Shane and he winked at her.
"Yup! It's like Sof and I have some sort of spiritual connection" Shane replied. Sofia simply nodded her head but kicked Shanes knee where Ryan couldn't see, he winced slightly but smiled.
"That's great, you guys wanna see where we're gonna film first?" Ryan asked. Shane and Sofia nodded and stood by Ryans desk looking over his shoulders to see. "So this is gonna be kind of a three parts in one episode kind of thing. We'll go to the Winchester Mystery House, then to Mexico for the Terrifying Island of the Dolls-" Sofia shivered "Then finally to the Sallie House which is supposedly haunted by a demon." Shane smirked.
"Those places sound great Ry!" Sofia exclaimed and Shane nodded.
"A demon house, sounds like fun." Shane said.
"Seriously Shane?" Ryan asked dumbfounded. Shane just shrugged.
"If we're gonna find evidence anywhere it would be in a demon house right?" Sofia suggested, now Shane was dumbfounded.
"You really believe in this stuff Sof?" He asked. She nodded.
"I'm more in the middle I guess, I'm open to the idea but I've never actually seen any proof" She shrugged and subtly winked at Shane.
"See! You can believe without seeing Shane!" Ryan exclaimed. Shane rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, you do you." He said with a laugh. The three of them spent the rest of the day planning out the trips and discussed some other video ideas. The clock struck 5 o'clock meaning it was home time. Ryan was the first to leave, excited to get home to his girlfriend. He said 'bye' and left quickly. Sofia and Shane laughed.
"Young love." She joked, Shane smiled knowingly at her.
"May I walk you to your car m'lady?" He asked while extending his arm.
"You may my good sir." Sofia giggled and took hold of his arm. They walked out of the building together and Sofia stopped to admire the gorgeous LA sky. The sun was setting and the air was full of an orange and pink hue.
"Wow, It's so pretty." Sofia said. Shane looked at her and smiled. He loved how she always found pleasure in the little things. He looked back to the sky.
"It really is." They continued walking until they arrived at Sofias car. Shane looked at her with a smile. She looked up at him with a questioning gaze.
"What?" She asked curiously. Shane just shrugged.
"I've missed you a lot is all, Seraphina." He said. She smiled and gazed into his soft eyes.
"I've missed you quite a lot too, Shyamil." They stood there for a minute, just admiring each other until they got distracted by a blaring horn in the noisy LA traffick. "I should probably get going." Sofia said. Shane nodded and kissed her hand gently.
"I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked. Sofia nodded softly. Shane smiled back and turned to walk to his car but felt someone grab his arm. He turned around and Sofia grabbed the collar of his jacket, pulling him in for a kiss. It was sweet and passionate. After a while she pulled away and leaned her forehead against his.
"I've been wanting to do that for a while." She giggled. Shane laughed and gave her a quick kiss.
"I've been waiting for 2875 years." He replied. She blushed and pulled back after giving him one last kiss. Heading to her car.
"See you tomorrow, Shyamil." She said as she got in.
"Until then, my love." He replied as he walked away to his car. Sofia drove off with a soft smile on her face, excited for the adventures to come.
