3rd POV
It had been about a week since Shane and Sofia kissed. They had chosen to keep their relationship secret for now seeing as they just 'met' last week. Ryan had his suspicions but hasn't said anything to them.
The team arrived at the Winchester Mansion. They walked up to the house.
"This looks like Disney Land-" Sofia laughed "I wouldn't be surprised if they got cotton candy in there." Ryan was smiling nervously.
"Yuk it up man yuk it up, you are really enjoying this, but when the lights go off, this may be a little different." Shane ignored him and looked around, Sofia not far behind him.
"Wow, it's gorgeous here!" She said.
The team hung around a while and Sofia got to know Devon, their camerawoman. Soon enough it was night out and time for them to go inside.
"Ah man, you are full of shit if you do not feel strange right now." Ryan said while looking around the dark house.
"No I don't." Said Shane. Sofia laughed at him.
"It's not that bad Ryan, man up!" Sofia joked
We made our way to the bedroom of Sarah Winchester, where Ryan would film his little intro explaining the history of the house and why it's "haunted".
Sofia sat next to Shane and listened intently to what Ryan had to say. Shane made jokes and didn't take any of it seriously. Sofia made some comments here and there but otherwise was pretty quiet. Sofia wasn't sure what she felt, but she knew there was something in that house.
Later they went to explore the house and came across a door that leads to nowhere. They opened it and looked out.
"I can't imagine a ghost would get foiled into falling into these bushes down here." Ryan said
"It's a nice thought, though" Sofia sympathized. The boys laughed. The night was full of laughs from Sofia and Shane and scared comments from Ryan.
They went to an 'active' room to check it out. Ryan was letting out scared grunts every once in a while. Sofia was looking around fascinated with the architecture and Shane wasn't far behind her, wanting to be near her at all times. They soon made their way to the seance room. The battery on one of the go-pros went out.
"I just took out a brand new battery, I just took off the plastic from it and put it in, and it drained it all the way to zero." Ryan explained.
"This is highly unusual,-" "Here we go" Sofia whispered "- I've never seen it do this before." Shane teased. Ryan looked up at him with a smile and shook his head
"I'm just gonna ignore you and fix this issue."
"You do that." Sofia said. Shane smiled at her. He then made his way to a little room.
"I'm gonna lock myself in here with a ghost." He declared. Sofia gasped dramatically.
"Oh no Shane! Do be careful!." She laughed. After a few minutes, it was Ryans turn and Devon followed him in to film.
"Oh fucking come on man," He said. Sofia laughed quietly from outside the room. Shane looked at Sofia with a mischievous grin.
"What are you gonna do Shyamil?" She asked. He winked at her.
"Just watch." He then knocked on the wall loudly. They heard some commotion coming from the room. Sofia laughed and put her hands on her knees to support herself.
"Goddammit, I knew he was gonna do that, it still scared me, fuck you!" Ryan mumbled. Shane then burst out laughing. Soon it was Sofia's turn so she went in with a go-pro. Devon and Ryan were chatting quietly and Shane was silent.
"Shy?" He heard a voice in his head ask. He smiled slightly knowing who it was.
"Yes, my dear?" He asked
"I'm bored." She replied
"Just a few more minutes, love."
"Entertain me, tell me a story?" She asked
"Anything for you darling, There once was a beautiful girl. She was kind and everyone liked her. One day many many years ago she met a man, a very very handsome man-" Sophia giggled quietly in the room. "-They soon fell in love, but each of them had a secret they were keeping from the other. Eventually, the man just came out and told her, he was a demon. She was surprised and he feared that she no longer loved him. He explained that he understood and was about to leave when the girl told him she was an angel. Both of them were unsure of what to do. They knew that this could end poorly if the others heard about it, so they remained a secret. For years they went on, happy together until one fateful day when it slipped that her, an angel, and him, a demon, were in love. They were forbidden from seeing each other and spent many hundreds of years apart. Until one fateful day, many, many lifetimes in the future, they met once again. They were finally reunited and were happy together once more." He finished. Sofia smiled, softly biting her lip.
"That was a wonderful story Shyamil, thank you." Shane smiled.
"Anytime, my love"
Ryan looked at his phone and motioned to Shane that the time was up. Shane went to go get Sofia. He found her standing in the room peacefully with a cute little smile on her face.
"Time's up darlin'" He said. He held his hand out for her to grab and pulled her gently out of the room.
"Thank you, Shane." She said. He placed a kiss on her hand before letting go and rounding the corner to where Ryan and Devon stood.
"Did you hear or see anything Sof?" Ryan asked
"Nope, it was honestly really peaceful and kinda relaxing." She said
"You're insane" Ryan replied. They all laughed.
