Family Meeting ~ Chapter 11

~a few hours later~

Natasha's POV

After finding out Reese's powers, we decided that it was time to tell everyone what they are. I kind of felt bad for her, since she was able to withstand all of the serums, they just kept giving her more. I only had one injection and it was awful. I couldn't imagine what she felt like. 

"Hey F.R.I.D.A.Y., can you tell everyone to meet in the lounge for a family meeting please?" I asked the A.I. "Of course Ms. Romanoff," she said back in her British accent.

A little bit later, everyone was at the lounge. "Okay, so Reese wants to talk to you all," I said looking at Reese. 

Sam's POV

I was a little shocked when Reese told us her powers. She had a total of nine abilities. She was also like Ava, new ones might pop up at different times since some serums might take a while to take effect. On the bright side, she had a lot of the same powers as a lot of the others, so it would be pretty easy for her to train when she is older. 

Speaking of training, I should have Tony make her a training suit. Her birthday is coming up and he won't know what to get her anyways. "Hey Tony, can I talk to you for a second?" When I said that he looked up from whatever he was doing and nodded. He motioned for me to follow him so I did. We ended up a little way down the hallway. 

"Please don't tell me you are already planning on proposing to my sister. It has only been a few months," he said half-serious, half-joking. "No, not yet. I was going to give you an idea for Reese's birthday. We all know that you won't know what to get her and her birthday," "Okay, first of all, that's rude, I give the best presents. Second, what is this idea that you have?" He asked. "I was thinking that you could make her a training suit that went with her abilities," I said and he immediately perked up. "That is the best idea you have had pigeon!" He said and ran off to his lab. I chuckled and went back into the lounge to find everyone watching Mulan. I went and sat by Ava and Reese. "Hey dad," Reese said and curled into my side. I was shocked she called me dad, but I was also really happy about it.

When the movie ended, both Reese and Ava had fallen asleep on me. Clint noticed me trying to lift Reese without moving too much to wake Ava, so he took Reese to her bed. I carried Ava to ours then went to Tony's lab to see if he had gotten anywhere with her suit. 

When I got down to the lab, Tony was reading something on his computer. He looked really stressed. "You good Tones?" I asked. He looked up and fear fell onto his eyes. "Where are Reese and Ava?" He asked frantically getting up from his seat. I started to worry. "What happened Tony," I asked slowly. "It's HYDRA, they want Reese and Ava back and they said that they are willing to stop at nothing to get them back. They want to turn them into emotionless soldiers. If they get to them, they will wipe their memories so they won't remember us," He said as he started running towards their rooms. 

Tony went into Reese's room, so I went into our room. I was hoping that she would be there. I thought she would be there. But she wasn't. All that was left was a note that said, "You shouldn't have left". Tony came rushing in a few seconds later. "They're gone" was all I could get out before I collapsed onto the floor. Everything after that was blurry before I blacked out. 

Tony's POV

When I went into Ava and Sam's room, I saw him looking at a note. "They're gone," he said before collapsing onto the floor. I ran to his side and read the note. It said, "You shouldn't have left." I thought for a moment. But then it clicked. He is blaming himself for this. "F.R.I.D.A.Y., call the team for a meeting," I said and I couldn't hear her response because I was too worried about getting him to the lounge.

Ava's POV

I woke up in bed. But it wasn't my bed in the tower. No this was a rough and itchy bed.  "Mommy!" I heard a girl shout. It took a minute but it finally clicked. That was Reese. We were kidnapped.
