Reese's POV

Today is the day I finally get to go to a real school and not be homeschooled. I am going to be a junior at Midtown High School. I don't plan on telling people who my family is because I don't want people to be friends with me just to get to the avengers.

I got my driver's license a few weeks ago, so I drove myself to school. When I got there I went to the office to pick up my schedule and get my locker number and combination. Since I was early I decided to hang out by my locker and put my things inside.

After a few minutes, two guys come up talking about a Millenium Falcon lego set. It sounds really cool but I don't want to eavesdrop on their conversation and sound weird. So I just continue putting my things in my locker until I hear someone say "Excuse me, are you new here?" Turns out, it was one of the boys from earlier. "Yeah, today is my first day," I say smiling. He seems really nice, so maybe we could be friends. "I'm Peter and this is Ned, can I see your schedule so I can see if we have any classes together?" I give him my schedule and while he is looking over it I can't help but notice how cute he is. Stop it. I can't like him can I? No, I just met him.

"We actually have all of our classes together, you should sit by us!" He says with excitement. "Maybe we could be friends?" I ask shyly.

And that is how our friendship began.

After a few weeks, I really started to fall for Peter, so I went to Aunt Nat for advice. "Hey, aunt Nat?" "Hey sweetie, what's up?" She said looking at me. "So there's this boy at school that I like. The only problem is, he is my best friend and I don't want things to be awkward if he doesn't feel the same," I said fiddling with my fingers. She squealed like a child and then said "Just go for it. If he doesn't like you back that is his problem and he doesn't deserve you anyway."

I thought about her words and then decided that I was going to tell him tomorrow at school. I wasn't sure how I was going to tell him yet, but I am going to tell him.
