It all started when I was 13. My parents got in a huge fight about me and my brother, Joey. They got in a fight because of us, we sneaked out to the beach for a midnight walk. We got caught and taken to the police station for trespassing. Well, my parents got pissed since they had to pay a $200 fine.

We didn't expect to get caught since we knew the consequence. Our family is struggling with money and it becomes stressful. My parents stayed up all night arguing. My dad tried to defend us by saying we should just be forgiven and learn from our mistakes. As for my mom screamed out saying she has been to easy on us and that we need punishments.

Joey and I stayed up all night listen to the conversation going throughout the entire house as Joey comforted me as I now was in tears. I then noticed that it was my fault this had happened. If I wouldn't of ask Joey to take me to the beach just to see Taylor this wouldn't have happened.

A month later my parents had enough and divorced my mother, Karmin, got full custody for being able to stay home most of the day with us and having a good stable life. My father lost his fight because he chose to let us be and learn from our mistakes which the judge said would soon lead to us being rebellious and thinking we control him. The judge then decided that my father may set up dates for us to meet but not be able to stay anywhere with him unless we had permission from our mother.

This hit Joey and I pretty hard. I stayed up alot cutting or thinking nonstop almost everyday. I then started wearing so much bracelets to hide my scars and recent cuts. No one knew other than Joey and Taylor, my best friend.

So it all started as I started blaming myself and beating myself up for each mistake I made since that night.
