Why Me?

New POV...

Connors POV

(Flashback)
I was walking home from school when I hear a scream.

"Somebody Help!"

I started panicking and looked around as I found a bright white house. The screams came from in that house. I immediately called the police and told them everything I knew when they finally arrived I saw a guy he looked around 17. I noticed he was crying and went to ask him what happened.

I was interrupted by a paramedic rushing a girl out of the house I couldn't see how she looked, but there was blood all over her arm. She had beautiful long dark brown hair. She was skinny too.

I looked to where the boy was and noticed he was gone. I looked around to find him running up to the ambulance with the girl I decide that I should go with them and sneaked into the ambulance.

I looked around while in the back of the car. I noticed that I was now able to see the girl. I looked at her arms that were all cut up. Why would she do that to herself? I thought while rubbing my arms as if I had them.

Oh my god... I knew who it was. It was that really pretty girl that I save at school earlier. What? Why? I thought as I nearly started crying.

"W-Who are you?" The boy sniffled while looking at me.

"I-I am Connor. I know what your thinking. 'Why the hell are you in here?' Well I was the one that called for help. And I just now noticed that I know this girl. I saved her at school earlier when she got the black eye. She was being beat by a guy. I think his name was blake." I replied.

I don't know why I felt like he should know this and I wanted him to trust me so I could stay.

"What?!" He replied in anger while making his hands fists.

As soon as he did this I knew I did something wrong. I was now hoping I didn't say anything.

"Mariana didn't want to tell me what happened! I'm sorry okay I am so fucking sorry. I messed up. Well... ummm.... I'm Joey, Mariana's older brother." He holds out his hand for me to shake.

I shake his hand not making eye contact. Once I let go of the hand shake he broke down. He was crying heavily once again like I saw him earlier. I didn't know what to do so I just told him everything was gonna be alright.

We finally arrived to the hospital. The doctors and nurses where every where as they took her to the ER. They were in such a hurry and there was so many I lost track of Joey.

(End of flashback)

I look at her beautiful self and then look at her new kitten. She looks happy. The only thing I see in her is beauty I don't know why she did that. She is so perfect. She looks like a princess.
