There was no one who didn't know you in the Senate Building. You were merely a secretary for a  senator, however that didn't hinder you from wanting to get to know everyone passing through the doors. You seized the opportunity to work in one of the most diverse places in the galaxy, something you wouldn't have ever gotten to experience in your home world. As your boss met new people, she gave you opportunities to meet them as well. You met with other senators, Jedi, other office workers and more, many of which became good friends or acquaintances. After   protecting the senator from an attack, you had been most fond of the Coruscant Guard. Their bravery and willingness made you respect them highly. Thire and Thorn soon became great friends to talk to during your late night shifts. Many other soldiers would occasionally converse with you during breaks as well. Unfortunately, the one you really wanted to talk to seemed off limits.

Commander Fox never gave you a spare look. You would see him in meetings and passed by him in the halls frequently. In the few instances you've had the chance to talk to him, he immediately dismissed you without a spare second. He was much more uptight with his men and others than the way the other guards were. Understandably, he had a packed schedule and probably didn't want to be bothered by an ordinary secretary. However, you had heard of so many stories of his valor and courage, you knew there was more of the commander than his tough exterior. So, you made it your goal to befriend him.

It started off with a cup of caf. You brought him one, claiming the senators office was nearby, and you just happened to have an extra cup of caf. Fox definitely saw straight through that, considering the senators office was on the opposite end of the Senate Building. Regardless, he muttered a thank you and gave you a curt nod before downing the caf. You just stood there for a moment, not quite knowing how to continue the conversation after that. So you opted with giving a quick little wave goodbye and rushed out the door. What you didn't see was Fox peering at the empty caf cup, wondering and inquiring about what just happened. You also didn't see the little quirk of his lips he let slip out. You on the other hand decided that your first step to befriending the stern commander wasn't too bad, so you made the decision to continue bringing him caf. Every time you passed by the caf machine for yourself or the senator, you would pick up an extra one for him. Sometimes Fox would be working when you brought it, other times he'd be gone, so you'd scribble a little smiley face onto the cup and set it down on his desk. The days Fox was there, he would give you similar thank you's. You could've sworn when his helmet was off, he would smile a bit. That slight smile made your day as you never saw the handsome commander's facial expressions anywhere near that. Your mother always told you the little acts of kindness would make everyone's heart soften eventually.

And she was right. Today you were so excited to bring Fox this cup o' caffeine. There was a chocolate flavored creamer that you wanted him to try. Rapping your knuckles against the door, it opened up revealing the commander. One arm was clutching the side of his forehead while the other was tapping at the holopad. Slight lines on his forehead was visible as well as the silver locks peeking in between his fingers. You smiled at him before setting the coffee down at his desk. "I hope you like chocolate, I added a little something to diminish the flavor of the bitterness." You said smiling as you turned away to walk out.

"Wait." You turned your body back towards Fox. He was looking at you with the cup in his hands. "Would you like to sit?" You must say, your eyes widened a bit at the question. You had always just dropped the coffee and left, but you were pleasantly surprised at the change of events. You grinned and sat down at the chair in front of him. Fox looked at you as he sipped the cup of caf. "The caf tastes much better, thank you."

You beam at him, "Oh it's nothing, thought it would be a nice change that's all." Fox hums in response.

"Why do you bring me caf?" You should've probably been prepared to answer a question like this, but you were a bit taken aback.
