Chapter 15

Arshita's Pov

I was laying on my bed as it was a lazy sunday morning, I picked up my phone and looked at the date and realized that I had my whole day planned with Shriya today as we both had decided to have a girls day out.

I can't actually believe that it's been three months since the day I had shifted to this neighborhood and everything seemed to change for me. I and Shriya grew really close as we almost spent most of our weekends either on shoppings, brunches or just dayouts!

And as for her antique brother Shubman, we were still the same as the day we had met, always fighting and annoying each other any chance we got and by now I had become really used to it. I also kept my texting ongoing with that Lonely...Ass! He's such an interesting guy that no one would want to miss a conversation with him, I know we had never seen each other or even met but we had become kind of close and really easy as for sharing our life experiences.

My phone suddenly rang and I looked at the caller ID and it was Mr.Businessman! Manish and I had been going on a lot of dates all this time and I couldn't deny that he was the sweetest and most genuine person I had ever met. He'd always been so nice to me.

I smiled slowly as I immediately picked up his call he said on lieu of hello, "Good morning, date partner!"

"Good morning Businessman! I'm still grumpy over the last stood up date, your business things!" I said smilingly and Manish again spoke up, "And I'm still so sorry about it, I'll do anything you ask"

"Well let's see what punishment you get for it" I said jokingly and he chuckled and I knew he was nodding his head as he always does at everything I say.

"So I guess you're still on your bed as it's a sunday morning" He asked after a moment, "Your guess is absolutely correct" I said giggling and he laughed as he said, "So can I give you an offer for today?"

"What is it?" I asked curiously and he spoke up happily, "Well I want to take you out to cover up for last time as I stood you up, so please come to the address I'm gonna text you okay! I'll be waiting Arshu! See you soon! Bye. I'll finish my work until then"

And before I could say anything else he hung up, I looked at my phone not able to understand what just happened and because of which I couldn't even tell him that I already had a plan with Shriya.

I was going to call Manish again to tell him when an idea popped into my mind and smiled cheekily while murmuring to myself, "Now's the time for his punishment"

I immediately texted Abhishek the address that Manish had sent me and asked him to be there on time as it was really important. Abhishek also fortunately agreed as he was free for the day and I smirked to myself while murmuring, "It's going to be really fun! Let's see how this date goes, best of luck Abhay and Manu"

I laughed as I finally got out of my bed and went to get ready for shopping as soon as possible because I was already late because of all these talks, I was ready after twenty minutes and went straightaway to Shriya's house to see if she was ready or not.

I opened their house's door and walked in as usual, and saw Shubman having his breakfast in his night suit! I don't know why but I almost laughed as I looked at him and then received a glare as he asked, "What is so funny?"

"You outfit! You seriously wear cartoons night suit while going to bed? This is new!" I said chuckling and he just made a face while saying, "Can you let me eat in peace or have you created a habit of disturbing my breakfast?"

"The latter one" I said smiling cheekily and he just shooked his head while going back to eating his food when Shriya finally walked down the stairs and I smiled at her as she returned the same while waving at me.
