Chapter 31

Shriya's pov :

Last night after all the engagement drama and then me confessing to Abhishek about Ishan's proposal it was a normal morning.... I woke up around 8:00 am as my alarm was buzzing.

I stretched my arms as I sat down on the bed and glanced at my phone thinking that maybe Ishan would have sent a message or something but there was nothing.

Ishan has not been the same after the proposal... He's been totally different... His attitude has changed for me .... And after Sara returned I think soo his feelings also changed for me.

"Ohh you are awake .... Good morning" Shubman said as he came inside the room whereas I got distracted as I turn my attention towards him "Good morning Shubi" I said slowly as I gave him a small smile.

He came and sat down in front of me as I was looking towards him only "What?" I asked in a question tone while he looked towards me raising his eyebrows.

"Don't you think .... We kinda need to have a good talk with each other" Shubman asked while I was still looking towards him with a question look "Talk as if what?" I asked whereas he just sighs.

"C'mon chia .... Don't pretend.... I'm your brother ..... You've not been yourself lately ..... It's like you are pretending things" Shubman said whereas I sighed as I looked down at my hands.

"Things have been a little different Shubi.... It's just that I can't explain it to you" I said sighing "Different as in what .... Is everything fine between you and Abhishek" Shubman asked whereas I quickly nodded for his query.

"Yeah ....  Everything is fine between us .... It's just something very .... I don't know .... I'm just really disturbed" I said while keeping my head in my hands.

"You should probably take a break from everything.... You know like to clear up your mind" Shubman said whereas I just sighed "I tried Shubi .... I really did but it just messed me up more" I said shaking my head.

"And who is the reason?" Shubman asked while I finally looked up towards him "Ishan" I said and he gave me a question look.

"Ishan .... What did he do.... Tell me I'll break off his face" Shubman asked while raising his voice "He did nothing Shubi .... You don't need to get so hyper .... It's just that his ex girlfriend is back" I said sighing while his reaction quickly changes into a weird one.

"You mean Sara.... The one who tried to take over your job and don't like her too right" Shubman asked "You remembered... Exactly her only ..... I don't understand how he can be such a dumbfuck ...  I mean is he really soo stupid" I asked as all of a sudden it triggered my anger remembering her and what all she is doing to show me that she is again back with Ishan.

"Jeeseee that's one of a kind language I hear very less from you" Shubman said chuckling whereas I rolled my eyes "I can't even tell you how much irritated I am right now ... I mean I was already not less disturbed from what all happened in New Year Party and now this shit" I said in one flow that's when I realised that unknowingly I muttered about the party incident to Shubman who doesn't know any single thing about it.

"Disturbed ..... New Year Party what are you saying?" Shubman asked curiously whereas I just shook my head in denial "Nothing .... I just blabbered out anything" I said when Shubman gave me a look.

"You are hiding something from me .... Aren't you?" Shubman questioned whereas I looked down at my lap "Spill it up Chia" Shubman said as he understood from my look when I didn't answer his question.

I don't know how to tell Shubman about Ishan's confession .... How would he react .... Although he has good tuning with Ishan but he never liked Ishan getting close to me  "Tell me now Chia" Shubman said in a stern voice whereas I quickly looked up towards him.
