Catherine's POV:
I'm almost at the end of my pregnancy and my baby girl is still so tiny! Jackson keeps telling his friends in daycare how excited he is to be a big brother. I always go up to see him in the hospital daycare if I get the chance. But no matter where we are, home or hospital he asks how his baby sister is. He's definitely going to protect her as they grow up. No doubt about it.
I'm a very stubborn woman, so I haven't gone on maternity leave yet - despite the advice that I've been given. I'm doing my rounds and then I get pains in my stomach. I think my baby girl is ready. Then my waters broke - yup she's coming.
I'm in a hospital bed, pushing like hell. There's doctors in the room getting ready to deliver. After that one last push, I heard it - I heard her. My baby girl. The doctor handed her over to me and she's so so tiny. "Hey there beautiful" I whispered and smiled as I held my daughter in my arms. I asked for one of my colleagues to get Jackson from daycare. "You ready to meet your big brother sweetheart?" I smiled. About five minutes later, Jackson came in. "Wanna come meet your baby sister, Jackson?" He came up to the bed and the doctor lifted him up and he sat in next to me. "She's so tiny" he whispered. "What she called momma?" "What do you think of the name Caitlan?" I asked. "Caitlan? That's a beautiful name. A beautiful name for my beautiful sister. Is her last name Avery too mommy?" "Her last name is Fox like mommy's. Her full name is Caitlan Grey Fox. Her daddy's last name is Grey." I told Jackson. "Caitlan Grey Fox? I love that name!" Jackson smiled up at me and he planted a small kiss on Caitlan's head. I wrapped my other arm around Jackson and had a cuddle with my two babies. I can't wait to take them both home!
