Caitlan's POV:
It's my first day back at school. Thankfully my casts are off, but I'm still in a wheelchair - just until I'm strong enough to walk again. Mommy has been taking me to see the physiotherapist at her work.
Me, Jackson, mommy and grandpa have a meeting with Jason's mom and the principal. Jason got expelled for him pushing me and his mom demanded a meeting.
So we're in the school meeting room. I'm on mommy's knee, Jackson is on one side of mommy and grandpa on the other side. The principal is sat at the head of the table and Jason and his mom are opposite us. "I demand that my son is allowed to be back at this school. If anything, the other boy should be expelled for punching him!" Jason's mom said. "Jason assaulted another student which lead to an incident that almost killed her." The principal told her. "Do you know who I am? I'm on the school board! And this girl is too young to even be in fifth grade!" She shouted. "So that's a reason for your son to push my daughter over? Your son is a bully!" Mommy retaliated. "He is not!" "You may be on the school board, but do you know who I am? Doctor Harper Avery. My granddaughter is very smart for her age! She more than deserves to be in fifth grade!" Grandpa said. Jason's mom just said "pfft." "I know the procedure for a bladder removal surgery and neobladder reconstruction. Do you?" I spoke up, and mommy, Grandpa and Jackson started laughing. "Jason started bullying my sister since her very first day. On the school trip, he pushed Caitlan over and she broke her bones. Yes I punched him because he hurt my baby sister. He deserved it." Jackson said. I took Jackson's hand and smiled. "I'm going to sue you!" Jackson's mom shouted. "Good luck with that! Trying to sue the country's best surgeon? I can get you kicked off the school board!" Grandpa smirked. "Bring it on old man!" Jason's mom said before her and Jason left. Jackson then smiled at me. "I've always got your back Grey Fox" "thanks Jay Fox. Back at ya." I smiled back.
It's been a week and Grandpa got Jason's mom kicked off the school board. Never mess with a Fox or Avery!
