Chancing It

Suprise!

I walk in to 5th period to see Josh and Kat talking.  I go to sit down and I get a surprising call. "Nevaeh"!, someone exclaimed from behind me. I turn around to see a guy named Mason right behind me walking towards me. Mason is a guy I used to date when I lived I'm Tennessee. He by the way never lost feelings for me. "Hey Mason...", I said in confusion. "Why are you here"? I asked. "I moved here..... My dad come promoted over here and our family had to move". He said. Luckily Ms. Cook came through the door. I walk to my seat and sit down. Class! May I have our attention please. Today we are joined by another new student. His name is Mason Peterson. Since we are in the assignment I am wondering if he can join anyone's group. Kat raises her hand in a flash. "Kat"!, I whispered. "Hey he's cute and I like meeting new people"! I look at her angirly. "Yeah he is also my ex". As soon as I said that Ms. Cook said okay you can be in Katrinas group. "Oh wonderful"!, I said as I put my head on the desk and took a deep breath. Ms. Cook then anounces that we can start our project. I still have my head on my desk and Josh comes and rubs my back. "You okay"?, he asked worriedly. " I'm okay...besides the fact that Mason is in our group". He looks at me confusingly. "What's wrong with Mason"? I took a deep breath. " Mason is from Tennessee. He is also my ex. I broke up with him because he was too clingy. He still is". Josh replies back" well he can like you as much as he wants, but he won't tear us apart. I smile at him and kiss him. He then grand my hand and we walk to the library.

   Today was a short day. We got early release. I told Josh I was walking home. He walked with me. We walked together slowly and Kat and Mason follow behind us. Kat is coming with me today cause she said she needed to talk to me about something. We get to the street beside my house and it starts raining. Josh gives me his coat and we continue walking. I then stop for a minute and Josh walks up and kisses me. At that moment on I became fearless. No worry no nothing. I knew everything was going to be alright. With him by my side.
