kion- Life in the outlands

chapter three

Kion was awake before the three pridelands cubs and decided to try and find some food, and he did. Kion managed to find a medium sized lizard with enough meat for the three pridelands cubs

When kion returned with the lizard kiara, Tiifu and zuri were just starting to wake up

Kion: good morning, I got you three some food

Kiara: thank you kion, but aren't you going to eat

Kion: no, I already ate this week

Kion's answer shocked the three prideland cubs

Tiifu: what do you mean by "you already ate this week"

Kion: I mean exactly what I said, a full stomach every day is not a luxury I have

Kiara,Tiffu, zuri: oh

Kion tore the lizard into three pieces and gave the pieces of meat to the three prideland cubs

Time skip (after the prideland cubs finished)

After kiara, Tiffu, and zuri finished eating, kion continued to lead them towards flat Ridge rock

Kion: we are almost there, about thirty more minutes

Time skip

Kion, kiara, Tiffu, and zuri had arrived at flat Ridge rock

Kion: climb up the cliff and you will be back in the pridelands

Tiifu and zuri: thank you

Kiara: kion you should come with us, and meet my mom and dad

Tiifu: great idea kiara

Kion: uh, I don't know

Kiara: please kion, my dad might want to thank you and my mother absolutely adores cubs

Kion: I guess it might be nice to get out of the outlands

Kiara: yay

Tiifu and zuri: sweet

Kion and the three prideland cubs started climbing up the cliff, zuri struggling the most, but the four cubs mad it up the cliff and into the pridelands

Kiara: yay, we are back in the pridelands

Kion: then place looks way better than the outlands

Tiifu and zuri: yeah no kidding

The four cubs started making their way towards pride rock

Kiara: you know kion, when I become Queen you will have to listen to me

Kion: don't count on it fuzzy, I am terrible at doing what I am told

Kiara: are you saying you wouldn't listen to the Queen

Kion: no, I am saying I wouldn't listen to

Tiifu and zuri who were watching the whole argument finally got s good look at kion and saw just how dirty his fur and mane was

Tiifu: how can he stand having that much dirt and mud in his fur

Zuri: I don't know

Kion and kiara kept arguing for a few more minutes when they were interrupted by a loud roar and a lion jumping in between kion and the three prideland cubs. Kion started backing away and Shaking with fear

Simba: What were you doing with kiara and her friends

Kion: I-i was just helping them get back to the pridelands

Simba: Don't lie to me

Kiara: Dad stop

Simba didn't stop, and kept growling at kion and Accusing him of working for zira

Kion: I don't work for this zira

Simba: don't lie, zira and her pride are the only group of lions in the outlands

Kion: oh, so that's her name

Simba: so you do work for zira

Kion was about to respond when another voice interrupted

Nala: kiara, Tiffu, zuri you better have a good reason for being missing for two days

Tiifu and zuri backed up a bit, knowing even though nala wasn't their mother didn't mean that she wouldn't punish them sometimes

Kiara: sorry mom, Janja chased us into the outlands, and a cub helped us escape and get back here

Nala: well I need to thank this cub

Kiara: well he is right over their

Nala looked at where kiara was pointing and saw simba hovering Viciously over a small cub

Nala: Simba, back off now

Simba: nala, he could work for zira

Nala: if he worked for zira do you think he would return kiara and her friends without asking for something in return or help them back without causing them any harm

Simba: but--

Nala snarled in simba's face making him back away in fear, and causing kiara and her friends to laugh

Nala: simba want did your mother say before she passed

Simba: she said "accusations can lead to conflict"

Nala smiled and turned towards kion

Nala: sorry for my mates behavior, trust me this will not be the last he hears of this

Kion: it is alright he is just protecting those in his pride

Nala: you look like you could use a bath and a good amount of sleep

Simba: but nala he is not our cub

Nala: I don't care if he isn't our cub. No cub deserves to be in this condition

Nala then picked kion up and walked him into the den at pride rock

Kiara: we should check to see if kion got hurt when he fought off Janja and his clan

Nala Agreed with kiara and started cleaning kion while checking for any injuries and what she saw completely shocked her.
