So, I think I'm a good person. I am very accepting of pretty much everyone, it doesn't really matter. As long as you're not unnecessarily rude to people I care about or myself, I'll be pretty civil with you.

This is why I cannot bring myself to ruin Marinette's unrequited puppy love for our idiotic classmate by convincing her to leave.

Because I was once Marinette, in love with an idiotic classmate. But there's a very big difference between her love story and mine. My love for Tamaki was reciprocated. Her love for our classmate is not. How do I know?

"Marinette? She's just a friend!" I looked at this dude with the most deadpan expression after overhearing a student from another class asking him about his relationship with her. He's an idiot. An absolute idiot. This poor girl!

I might be able to bring myself to ruin her unreciprocated feelings for our classmate after all.

I also noticed something else. None of our classmates besides Alya, a girl who sits next to Lila, approaches Marinette unless they need something. This girl is all give. She's a very kind girl. But it's like she can't say no.

"Hi. Can I sit here?" I asked, pointing to a chair beside Marinette at lunch. I'm glad I had a month, this was going to be a process. But progress is progress, no matter how small.

"Of course!" She said, smiling. I sat down and started eating. "So, you're from Japan?"

"Mhm." I hummed, nodding.

"What's it like?" She said. I started explaining things to her about the culture and the people. How beautiful the cherry blossoms are, and how amazing the cities look all lit up. But most importantly, the fashion.

She's a very passionate fashion designer. Of course, I'm going to talk about something she's passionate about. Not only does it help me learn more about her, but it also helps convince her to come to Japan.

In return for telling her about Japan, she told me about Paris. All the different places to go, and places only locals know about. She also talked very passionately about her parent's bakery and her fashion designs.

"So, Marinette?" I started after she had finished, and we'd both finished eating. She nodded, ready to answer my question. "Who is that?" I pointed at the blonde-haired green-eyed idiot she's in love with.

"Oh, that's Adrien Agreste." There's that dreamy look again. But I was more focused on his name.

"Agreste, Agreste, why does that sound familiar?" I mumbled.

"His dad's a famous fashion designer, and he's a model." She said.

"Oh." I blinked, not realizing that. I should tell Kyoyo that he missed a student. "I didn't realize that."

"I'm not sure how, but that's ok." She laughed. "What are the students like at your school?"

"Oh, almost everyone's nice. There are of course the ones who aren't, that's unavoidable. But I try to surround myself with good people."

"What's your friend group like?" She asked eagerly.

"I manage... a... club." I said slowly. "I'm friends with all the members and dating the President of said club. There are the twins, Kyoyo, Honey, Mori, Haruhi, and Tamaki. The twins are mischievous, and Tamaki is dramatic. There's no good way to describe Honey other than he lives up to his name." I laughed, and so did she. "Mori is very serious, but a good guy. Kyoyo is also serious, and also a good guy, but I would recommend staying on his good side if you ever meet him. Haruhi is very sweet and also very understanding. Oh! And Renge. She's from Paris actually, she also manages the club." I described.

"Who's the one you're dating?"

"Tamaki." I told her. "Sweet guy." I smiled.

"How long have you two been together?"

"A little more than a year now." She nodded.

"Your friend group sounds amazing."

"They are pretty cool. I'm sure they'd love to meet everyone here someday." I smiled. "But, Marinette, who's your friend group?"

"Oh." She said, looking away.

"If you don't want to talk about it you don't have to." I shrugged. "We can talk about something else."

"Good idea." She said awkwardly. I hit a sore point. Good information for later.

"Well, what do you want to talk about Marinette?" I asked.

We talked all through lunch and said goodbye to each other after classes. I feel like I made some major progress today, even if all I did was talk about Japan and Paris. And I have more information now, which can be handy later.

And I cannot wait to tell Tamaki and Kyoyo all about this.
