17. Who Is Mei Li's Friend???

Next day in the morning. The same scene as yesterday was. Wang Lei was cooking in the kitchen and Mei Li was waiting on the dining table for her breakfast. Once breakfast was ready Wang Lei served the dishes on table and sat on the seat adjacent to Mei Li.

"Thank you!" Said Mei Li as Wang Lei served her breakfast.

"No problem." Replies Wang Lei.

"By the way I had something to ask you." Said Mei Li while eating the dish which she felt contented with.

"Sure. You can ask anything." Replied Wang Lei munching his own dish happily.

"Are you free this Sunday? I have a friend who wanted to meet you." Asked Mei Li with a little bit hesitation as she feared that he may say no.

"I'm fine with it. You can decide the time and place." Said Wang Lei while wiping his face as he has just finished his meal.

"Thank you so much." Replied Mei Li with excitement as she was jumping up and down from inside.

"No need to say thank you. I should do this." Replied Wang Lei.

After the breakfast Wang Lei dropped Mei Li to college like yesterday. After entering the college she took her seat and their lectures started.

During lunch break Mei Li told Lian Cheng that Wang Lei is ready to meet him this Sunday at 11 AM. Mei Li chose an ordinary café for them to meet.

It was finally Sunday. The day when Mei Li was going to introduce Lian Cheng and Wang Lei.

Mei Li and Wang Lei were siting together at the corner near a window of the café and chatting.

"I'm really very curious to see who is your friend." Says Wang Lei.

"Don't worry you'll see him in a while. I also have one more friend I want you to meet. I only have these two friends who are the closest to me." Says Mei Li with full excitement.

"Hmm, how about I meet your other friend next Sunday." Said Wang Lei with a smile on his face. After Wang Lei said this they suddenly saw someone coming inside the café. It was Lian Cheng.

"OH MY GOD!!! Mei Li you really didn't lie to me." Lian Cheng says with his eyes wide opened.

"I already told you, it was you who wanted to confirm." Mei Said to Lian Cheng in a frank and friendly tone.

Seeing who Mei Li's friend is Wang Lei was shocked.
