MELISSA'S (POV)

"So, how are you enjoying Melbourne, Melissa?"

I turned to where Perrie was now seated. She wasted absolutely no effort to make herself right at home. Then again, she probably lived here way longer than I did. I had finally convinced Harry to let me get off his lap so I could do....what? I had no idea.

But just the thought of cuddling in front of Perrie, whom may I add, didn't seem to mind, was pretty unsettling for me.

I was the most intimidated by her than Eleanor or even Sophia. I guess it was because of the fact that she was pretty and famous as well. She cleared her throat, making it known that I hadn't answered.

"Oh yeah it's pretty great," I answered hastily. Harry must have noticed my discomfort because he glared at Perrie.

"Stop drilling her for answers, Per," he scolded. "She's nervous."

"Am not," I defended myself. And just to prove a point, I walked over and sat next to her on the couch. She chuckled loudly, and it was a beautiful sound. Even when she wasn't trying, she still seemed to look so graceful that I suddenly felt clumsy.

"Zayn had warned me that Harry was protective over you, I just didn't know how much. Until now. You know," she continued, "Zayn had told me that when I reached here, you guys would be making out or something. I waved him off because, duh, I didn't believe it at first but I take it all back." Her eyes were shining with so much amusement, I felt my cheeks heat up on their own accord.

Harry, in one swift move, grabbed the cushion pillow which were printed with flowers and flung it onto her.

"Owww," she screamed as the pillow hit her face. I thought she was going to let Harry have to right there, right then, but within seconds that angry demeanor of hers disappeared and she grinned. "I had that coming didn't I?"

"Since a long time," Harry chuckled along with her.

She grabbed the pillow and flung it right back at Harry who dodged it, smirking like a two year old. And I was left, sitting there wondering what the hell was happening. "Sorry," Harry chuckled again, walking over towards me. "We had like a bet between us that was pretty much overdue. She earned the pillow tossing."

I couldn't help but smile as I saw Perrie stick her tongue out at Harry. I was suddenly less intimidated by her presence. Maybe it was because she seemed to be the only one that could get Harry to act like a kid. I wondered how long ago did their friendship actually start. Perrie shook her head and them turned her focus towards me.

"I don't know how you can put up with him?" She said playfully. "And even in the same house too. Gosh! If it was me, I would have kicked him out by now."

I laughed along with Perrie, glancing at a scowling Harry. Perrie was definitely cool!

She continued, "The first time, Zayn had asked me to be his girlfriend, well, I didn't even know he liked me, but forget that! The first time he asked me out, he was so shit-scared that he couldn't do it himself. It was Harry who asked me for Zayn. Two weeks after that, even after going to dinner with Zayn, I was under the impression Harry liked me," she pointed a finger at him, accusingly, "poor boy! You should have seen Harry's face when I tried to let him down. He had no frigging clue why I was rejecting him, he only had to stand there and hear me shout."
