18 - karl and sapnap shsksjsj

"Hey guys'" said George, walking towards to the three boys, "Where have you been?"

The three boys were now far away from their original position, nearly on the other side of the entire park. George didn't really get a response, so instead just carried on without an answer,

"Um, Dream and I probably won't be in for dinner tonight"
"Probably?" said Dream, coming up behind him, "We won't be in for dinner" he corrected, with a smile.

Quackity's face dropped.

"You too?" he groaned "Oh my godddddd", he flounced his arms up, letting them slap his thighs,
"What?" laughed George
"Um, me and Sapnap are out tonight too" said Karl, with a smile.
"Yeh so now you're both out on dates and i'm alone at home" whinged Quackity,

He was joking of course. Sort of. He was totally totally happy for his friends, and was perfectly content being a fifth wheel - but he expected them to be together as friends for a little longer than a day and half.

Dream and Sapnap were immediately grinning at eachother, both looking at the other in disbelief.

"Give us a second" said Dream, walking up to his friend and nudging him to walk with him. Once they were out of eyesight, they both talked over each other at once.

"What? Bro what happened?!!"
"Since when were you gonna do this?"

The two laughed at their excitement, it was like two high schoolers who just got asked out.

"Wait wait, you go first" said Sapnap, taking a step back to allow Dream to speak.

The blonde described everything in near detail, from the moment they left to the moment they came back. He skipped out the cringey parts though.

"Dude well done" Sapnap brought him into a bro-hug, bear hug, type situation. "Proud of you".

Dream shrugged him off, batting his hands away, "Ehhh shut up, what about you and Karl??? I didn't know this was going on??"

"Dream shut up you have been teasing me about it for weeks"
"Yeh, but i never knew you were gonna do something about it"
Sapnap shrugged, "Well I did", and he began walking away.

"Woah woah woah", exclaimed Dream, grabbing onto the shorter boy's elbow before he could go any further, "I want details"

"What? You're so weird"
"I gave you details" complained Dream, "Now spill"

Sapnap sighed.

"Well, yesterday i decided i wanted to do something about it, i wanted to do it a while ago, but text isn't the same you know." he continued, "And i really wanted to do it this meet-up, so i thought Disney was the best place to do it"

Sapnap smiled at the way he sounded. He had such a persona of this tough guy, this intimidating dude that swears too much. He was just a softie at heart.

"When you went to get pretzels i thought it would be the best time, cause we would probably leave quite soon after that. So i just began wandering, Karl and Alex followed"

Dream nodded, gently walking alongside him.

"We came across the water fountains, i thought it was pretty,"
"Pretty cliche" interrupted Dream
"Shut up" Sapnap rolled his eyes, as Dream laughed at his own joke

"Anyway, we sat down for a moment to watch them and then i took Karl's hand and walked him to the little edge bit - that's where i asked him"

His face warmed just thinking about the moment. When Karl giggled and said yes as if it was the most obvious answer in the world, as if no wasn't even an option.

The way they both leaned into each other, exchanging a soft kiss, one that both of them had waited so long for. It felt right, felt perfect, felt comfortable.

"Wait, so are you guys going out for dinner, or just going out period?"
Sapnap smirked.
"Answer my question dude" said Dream, nudging his shoulder,
"Karl is my boyfriend"

Dream's face lit up, a physical representation of how Sapnap felt. He may have jumped around a little, pulling the brunette back into a hug as they had done before. This time, Sapnap was the one to stand awkwardly, as the blonde encased him in his arms and patted his back.

"Wait, so did Alex just sit on the bench as you did that?" he asked, pulling slowly away from the hug,
"Well sort of, he hadn't really noticed what was going on, but then we kissed and then-"
"Oh god" Dream internally face planted as he anticipated what was about to come,
"And then he came over and pulled us away from eachother"

Dream couldn't help but laugh at Quackity's hopelessness, at just how immature he was,

"Guys guys i don't know what's going on here" said Sapnap, imitating Quackity, "but, I'm happy for you, I really am, but gross! I'm literally right there dudes"

At this point the blonde was wheezing at just how accurate the brunette's impression was, of how much it reminded him of his beanie- wearing friend.

The two now stood with each other, having recovered from laughing and coming down from the high of their shared happiness.

"Sap, we did it bro" he chuckled, lightly punching the shorter boys arm,
"We sure as hell did" said Sapnap, nodding in agreement.

The two laughed at their soppy-ness, they never simper for anyone. Except maybe the two brunettes that were stood just around the corner from them. Maybe, just maybe, they were an exception.
