@AshtonIrwin: Hi! I'm playing three shows at the O2 Arena in England in June; there are still some tickets left! I'm so excited!

Calum sighed, scrolling through his Twitter feed. He knew who Ashton Irwin was - anybody who didn't know him was living under a rock - but unlike most people in the world, he didn't care. The only songs he knew by Ashton were the ones that came on the radio almost all the time - Stars, Disconnected, and Beside You.

Luke Hemmings, Calum's best friend, wasn't exactly classified as a fanboy. Okay, maybe he was a fanboy, but that's not the point. The point is, Luke just liked going to concerts and listening to music a lot, and Calum would always go with him.

After going to several concerts with Luke, Calum started getting inspiration to write his own music. He's been writing songs for two years and, in his own opinion, his songwriting skills have definitely improved over that period of time.

So now Luke is still a massive concert-goer and Calum is trying to get his big break as a singer/songwriter. Not much really changed.

"Hey, we're taking on the world. I'll take you where you want to go..."

Calum stopped singing and wrote down the melody for that line.

"I'll pick you up if you fall to pieces, let me be the one to save you..."

He heard somebody walk in and slam the door.

He turned around and saw Luke right in front of him.

"Calum!" Luke yelled.

"You scared the crap out of me!" Calum exclaimed, "Why do you always do that?"

"Because it's funny," Luke said, watching Calum roll his eyes after hearing his reply, "I'm just really excited right now."

"And why is that?" Calum asked.

"I got concert tickets!" Luke shouted, squealing and jumping up and down as if he was a crazed fan - except, he was.

"That's nice. Who are we seeing?" Calum asked, using the word 'we' because he automatically knew that he was going to go to the concert with Luke, no matter who the band, singer or artist was.

"Ashton Irwin," Luke answered.

The expression on Calum's face looked like he had never even heard Ashton's name before.

"You know, the blonde Australian singer and drummer who comes on the radio all the time and makes you want to change the station. That guy," Luke told him.

"Okay," Calum said, sighing, "When's the concert?"

"On the twenty-fifth. We leave for London in two days," Luke replied, "You should probably start packing."

"Might as well," Calum mumbled to himself as he walked to his room.
