"Looks like the meet-and-greet is next," Calum said as he walked outside of the actual arena.

"I can't wait to meet Ashton!" Luke exclaimed.

"I swear, you're such a fanboy sometimes. You're just like all these girls here," Calum retorted.

"I'm a fanboy and I'm not even ashamed of it - not one little bit," Luke said proudly, "And don't say that too loudly, people will hear you."

"Oh, please. They're way too busy screaming and talking about Ashton to even pay attention to the fact that two boys were in the audience," Calum replied, rolling his eyes.

"Oh, really?" Luke asked, "because it looks like one girl is trying to get our attention."

"I don't see girl trying to get our attention in any possible way," Calum said.

"Turn around," Luke told Calum.

"Hey, you! Yeah, you with the black hair!" the girl exclaimed.

"What can I do for you?" Calum asked.

"I'm Bella. You're the guy who got picked at the question and answer session, right?" the girl asked back.

"Uh, yes. That would be me. Well, I'm one of the people who got picked," Calum explained.

"Can I get a picture with you?" Bella asked.

Calum stood there, eyes widened, feeling speechless. He was shocked, to say the least. He wasn't a celebrity. He wasn't famous in the slightest way possible. He was just another person waiting at the venue and wanting to enjoy Ashton's concert later that night.

"Sure," Calum answered.

Bella handed Calum her cell phone, making Calum assume that she wanted him to take the picture.

"Smile!" Calum exclaimed.

Calum pressed the button and took the picture.

"Here you go," Calum said, handing Bella her phone back, "May I ask why you wanted a picture taken with me?"

"Ashton Irwin noticed you. You'll become famous one day, I can tell," Bella said, raising her eyebrows.

"Just because Ashton talked to me during the question and answer session doesn't mean that I'll be as famous as he is in an instant." Calum told her, "I do write songs, but I'm not that good at it, though."

"I barely know you, but you're better than you think. Don't doubt yourself," Bella said.

"Thanks," Calum replied.

Calum, Luke, and the girl in front of them soon realised that they were talking long enough that they had gotten close to the front of the line.

"Well, this was fun. It was nice meeting you, and hey, maybe I'll see you later tonight," Bella said.

"Yeah, maybe," Calum replied.

Bella walked away and talked to Ashton.

"Well, that was awkward," Calum mumbled.

"Cal, come on. Chill," Luke said, "Don't you see? This is just the beginning. You'll be famous, just like that girl said."

"I highly doubt it, Luke," Calum replied.

"We're going to meet Ashton Irwin in, like, ten seconds, Calum," Luke said excitedly.

"Luke, calm down. He may be a celebrity, but deep down inside, he's just another person like you and me-" Calum said before being interrupted.

Suddenly, Calum was pushed through the line and was standing inches away from Ashton Irwin - THE Ashton Irwin - within seconds.

"Hey, how are you?" Ashton asked.

"I'm good," Calum answered. "Thanks."

Calum got nervous when meeting new people. It was just a thing he dealt with.

"I kinda want to be a singer-songwriter, do you have any advice for me?" Calum asked.

"Yeah, I do, actually," Ashton answered, "Don't let hate or criticism get to you, don't worry about what others think of you and, most importantly, don't give up on yourself - ever. Got it?"

Calum nodded his head and said "thanks."

"No problem," Ashton replied with a smile, "Wait, you were the guy who I talked to at the Q&A session, weren't you?"

"Yeah, that was me," Calum said shyly.

"Well, Calum, let me tell you something. I believe that with a lot of hard work, you can become a singer-songwriter and do what you've been dreaming of," Ashton told Calum.

"Thanks, Ashton. That means a lot coming from you," Calum said with a smile.

Calum and Ashton took their meet-and-greet picture together and Calum walked right away and turned his head around to see Ashton already talking to the next person in line, then the person after that, and then the person after that. It all went by so fast, and he had to admit, it was an amazing experience that he'll remember for the rest of his life. But it wasn't over yet.
