Chapter 2

Davids P. O. V

I woke up to another sunny morning!
I got out of bed and changed into clean clothes and fixed my hair.
I walked outside with a whistle around my neck and walked up to the tents where the campers are.

*Whistle sound*

"Good morning campers!"

*Groan*
They all got up and out of there tents, some of them where stretching and some where yawning clearing there eyes for another day.

"As you can see it's morning! So all of you go head to the mess hall for your morning breakfast!"
I smiled and they all followed what I said.
Max, Nikki and Neil in there usual group talking on the way down.

Nice to see Max made friends here at camp:)
I knew he would!

After a while I went to Gwen cabin and woke her up, then went to Y/N's door and knocked.
I heard footsteps and the door opened
She look like she just woken up, looked tired.

"Morning Y/N! Ready for today?"

"Oh, yes. I'll be out in a minute, thank you David."
She said

"No problem, we'll all be in the mess hall for breakfast! See you soon!"

I walked to the mess hall and everyone was talking to eachother at there own table.
Space kid was talking about space
As Neil talked to Nikki, Max just ate his food.
Nurf just teased Preston.

I grabbed my food and went to go sit down next to Max and them.

"Where's Y/N? "
Nikki said as she gave me a confused look

"She'll be here in a bit she's just getting dressed that's all"
I said with a soft tone, Nikki nodded and started to eat her food.

" She isn't bad I guess"
Max said, he looked up at me with a plain face.

" Mhm! She's doing great here! "
I said and took a bite of my food.

I got dressed and went out to the mess hall, taking a deep breath and heading inside.
I looked around at all the kids and David was sitting with Max, Nikki, and Neil.
I went to the man with a hook as a hand and he gave me food.
It looked okay.... I guess? I went over to Max and David, with the other kids and sat down next to David.

"Y/N! Your here!" Nikki said with a smile and jumped up.

"Heh, hello"
I gave a small wave

"So Y/N, how was your sleep?"
David asked me

" It was nice, nothing bad"
I said giving a smile.

I then went to eating my food.
It was okay but cold. I don't really mind. Everyone here was kind to me and David and Gwen where great!
Though I wonder how David always has a smile all the time?
Is he always like this?

" David what are we doing today? Anything stupid like usual? "
Max asked to David

" Oh! We'll I was planning on we go swimming today! And Max it's not stupid, it's fun!"

" Anything to you that's fun is stupid."
He said and gave an annoyed look

"I think it's a good idea David"
I said and gave a smile.

" Thanks Y/N, we're all heading to the lake after we get ready and of course after we're done eating"

" Sounds great!"
