The black hoodie that I wore just about covered the tops of my knees, and my legs were shivering beneath it.
The atmosphere of the manor seemed to be reflecting on how the day occurred to be the further I walked through the corridors.
At first, it began warm- easy. Then hot- like fire. But after that, the temperature kept dropping and dropping and dropping, till eventually, it plummeted. Bitter cold at the start, pricking away the warmth till it was ice.
Although it was summer, it had never seemed so cold.
I had arrived at the door to where the library was, and a sense of nostalgia rinsed away the chill for a brief moment.
Me meeting a mysterious stranger in the dark- something that would be viewed as a warning to run.
No correlation ever again.
Yet all I wanted to do was stay with him- so wrong yet so right.
Opening the door, the library remained a mess as to when I last saw it. That exact rustic smell of dark wood, the smell of rough paper of the many stories and the same amount of dust coating the outside of the untouched books.
Then there it was.
As I turned, my eye captured a glimpse of the window I was pressed up against by Tom. Where he kissed me so surprisingly and so lustful in a matter of seconds.
I gazed at the glass where my memories had been imprinted on, replaying our kiss in my mind.
His lips were soft as he applied pressure to our kiss, the more pressure he would add the more my back would ride up against the window.
We exchanged breaths as we shared our kiss, only briefly slipping our tongues into each other's mouth.
I used both of my hands to secure onto his face to deepen our kiss, I needed to feel more of him but he pulled away-
Suddenly, a gentle gust of wind tickled the side of my hair causing it to fall behind my shoulder.
I darted my eyes upwards to see where the slight bit of wind was flowing through.
Surely someone would secure all the windows and doors for the night?
