Emile sighed as he left Virgil's room and Remy came up to him.
"How is he?" Remy asked.
"Well, I can tell the curse worries him, but it frustrates him more. He said that he's not sure he'll be able to just stand back while we fight," Emile explained.
"Well someone will have to be with him at all times to protect him."
"I'm sure that'll be Thunder. She hasn't left his side ever since they woke up. She shows her worry more than Virgil."
"Janus has been working like crazy to find a way to get around the curse, even if he refuses to show it."
"He thinks compassion is weakness. He can't show how vulnerable he is, how much he cares or how scared he is."
"You know how to read just about anyone on this ship, huh?"
"Is it not obvious? Seriously, Janus is so obvious about it even if he doesn't realize it."
"Look, the most obvious people around here are Logan and Patton. They're dating and they still act like they just have crushes on each other."
"Hey, I saw Patton call Logan sweetie without Logan melting!"
"That was when he was fighting with Janus, dear."
"I mean, they're not the only ones that act like that, babe." Emile smiled evilly as Remy's ears turned red.
"Hey, that's my line!"
"Can't take what you dish out, sugar?"
"Emile!"
"Love you, boo!" Emile booped Remy's nose.
"You're the devil."
"You're the one with the red face." Emile gave Remy an air kiss before walking off.
"I'm glad I don't have to deal with that stuff," Alex said. "I'm single and happy about it."
"Not everyone is aromatic, Alex," Remy argued.
"Sucks for them then. And you too."
"You're unbearable."
"My brother got all of the romantic and sexual attraction, him and his bisexual ass."
"He's two years younger than you."
"I gifted it to him. Left it in the womb."
Remy snorted and rolled his eyes. "Okay then, have fun with that. You have more time to yourself then."
"No I don't, I'm still a member of this crew," Alex said as she walked off.
"Yeah, I guess we're all still pretty busy. Especially now."

When Virgil finally left his room, everyone turned to him and stopped their conversation. He waved them off, very glad that he was wearing his mask, and he made his way to the helm.
"Captain," Logan greeted, already there.
"Hey," Virgil responded, taking the wheel for himself.
"Do we have a particular destination this time?" Logan asked.
Virgil shrugged. "Not really, we left Deimos in a rush. Do you have anywhere in mind?"
Logan's face lit up. "Minerva Fjord?"
"Alright, I'll bite. Why do you want to go there?"
"It's in a fjord, so it's well protected, the town welcomes anyone since it's a neutral territory, and it's a place known to hold knowledge! It has lots of libraries, as well as people who would rant about several topics if given the chance. Plus, no one would look for us there. So if your brother, whichever one it is, is looking for you, then he probably won't find us there."
"So it's a town, in a fjord? How does that work?"
"The town is built on the walls, above sea level and it accounts for the tides. There are bridges connecting both sides, and the supports are checked on frequently. Some of the buildings are inside the fjord walls! It's fascinating to see!"
"You want to go there to find a way to break the curse, don't you?"
"Yes."
"Then my brother will look for us there."
"He only knows you and Patton, how can you be sure he'll know where you'll go next? For all he knows, your next stop is going to be the next merchant ship going to or heading from Deimos. If we avoid pirating until your curse is broken-"
"Then we'll never pirate again. We can't be sure when my curse will be broken, if ever. And the more we attack Deimos, the weaker and angrier my father becomes. I just wish I knew how my brother figured out who I am."
"Perhaps he asked the witch. How old are your brothers anyway?"
"Derek is two years younger than me, Malcolm is three years younger. I imagine Derek has been made crown prince by now, but I'm surprised my father didn't revoked my title when he... nevermind. I don't believe he'll welcome me back now, though."
"Which brother would have it out for you?"
"I'm not sure, they were 13 and 14 when I ran away. They hadn't finished growing, and I was constantly training to become king. Being a prince in Deimos isn't easy, trust me."
"I believe you, the sword training, horse riding, and keeping up appearances with royal balls."
"I do miss horse riding, but flying with Thunder is even better."
"I just hope your curse doesn't affect her while you're on her back during fights."
"Thanks for that peace of mind."
"Which is even more reason to go to Minerva Fjord! To find a way to break the curse!"
Virgil sighed, slumping his shoulders. "Well, we have nowhere else to go. Do you know where this fjord is?"
Logan smiled, "I went there many times on my travels, I know the way."
"You are the best navigator here. Led us there, Logan."
