Remember me [Levi x Reader] Modern AU

        You grabbed the sheets from underneath you and groaned, every inch of your body was sore. You opened your eyes and looked at the blinding sheets, letting them adjust to the brightness.

        You looked around and noticed no one there, but on the stand next to you a glass of water. By the looks of it, fresh, someone's been in the room recently.

        Then it hit you, you didn't even know who you were yourself. The band on your arm had your name, an id code for what seems like a hospital, a name, birth-date, and you believed to be the day you were checked in. You heard the doors open but passed it by as your imagination to you heard footsteps.

        They stopped.

        You looked up to see a man with raven black hair, a black coat, white shirt, black slacks, and some worn out boots.

        "Your awake, thank god," He breathed out and went over to hug you, you flinched away, he noticed this and backed away. The look on his face, heartbroken and filled with hope all at the same time.

        "I'm so sorry but.....I don't know you." You said, your throat still dry, causing you to cough at the end of the sentence. You reached over to the glass of water and brought it up to your lips taking a drink before setting it back down.

        "I'm Levi....your boyfriend?" He went over to gently grab your hand. You looked at him, hopeless of remembering you shook your head.

        "I'm sorry but I couldn't even remember my own name till I looked at the tag of my arm." You responded quietly. Looking down on the tag you looked at your name again. (y/n) Ackerman. You swore you heard it before.

        "Are you sure you don't remember?" He asked being gentler as he was ready to let go of your hand.

        "Am I actually (y/n) Ackerman?" You asked timidly, you blushed, you didn't know why, you just did!

        "Yes, I would know my own....wife," Your eyes widened immediately 'Wife!? He said girlfriend! Or maybe he was just trying to comfort you before trying to feed you too much memory?' You were in a state of shock.         

        You looked down at his hands and noticed the ring there, you then looked at your own, also a ring there.

        "The kids are waiting outside I'll go get them." He said quietly.

       "Wait, KIDS!?" You weren't prepared for this, maybe starting out with boyfriend and girlfriend was enough for you.

        "Hey kids c'mon in, your mom's awake." You heard rapid pitter patter and three heads pop out of the side of the bed.

        "Mommy!" One of them shouted.

        "I'm sorry but I don't have kids?" You told the man that claimed to be your husband.        

        "Well we didn't have them, we adopted them, but their definitely ours."  He chuckled. "Armin, Mikasa, Eren, mommy has amnesia, make sure you remember that okay?" 

        "So which one is Armin?" You asked, the small blonde waved his hand and smiled. He was all adorable, all of him. "Mikasa?" The tallest one ,the girl taller by just probably an inch, then hid behinf the scarf and blushed. "Eren?" The last one ran up to you and handed you a card.

        You took it and looked at the cover, it was sloppy, but there was a drawing of all of you, Levi, Armin, Mikasa, Eren, and yourself. The top said 'Get well soon', you smiled and opened the card, you were in the hospital bed, 'Hope you get better' they drew you dreaming about the five of you together again.

        "I'm really trying to remember, but I'm so sorry I can't." You looked up at them. 

        "Can you go back with aunt Hange? I'll be right out ok kids?" Levi smiled[OH MY GOD THE APOCALYPSE HAS STARTED] at the kids as their way out.

        "This is great that you're trying to help me remember but I don-" You were stopped midway when you felt a pair of lips on yours, molding perfectly with each other, as if its been done thousands of times before.

        You leaned back and covered your mouth completely flushed. You couldn't believe that he just had the balls to do that. 

        It all hit you then, you and Levi, dating since mid-high school, you both....well let's not explain that part but you guys were definitely lovers. You were proposed to when he wasn't sure where you were going to go for college, and when you said yes, he had finally decided, he'd be with you till the end. You didn't even realize you were crying until he pointed it out.

        "Ah, Shit I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that, I'm so stupid." He grunted the last part to himself as he sat down in the seat next to the bed.

        "N-no, mr. cuddlekins I'm perfeectly fine."

        "You promised not to use that nickname anymore when I proposed to you," He stayed silent, and then it hit him.

        "Yes I'm back my grumpy kitten." You smiled and giggled, he stood up completely astonished, he, once again, had leaned in to give you another kiss.

        "Thank god," He whispered.

        "How did I get in here with amnesia anyways?" You asked curiously, with that question his face dropped into an annoyed one.

        "You tried out an experiment of hers, and she ended up almost killing you. Good thing she has a panic button in her fucking lab." You looked down in disappointment.

        "She said it was perfectly safe."

        "Can you really trust someone who tries to make new things that constantly explode in her face, I swear she's already lost her eyebrows more than you can count."

        You giggled and kissed his cheek

        "Well i'm fine now shut up"

Just a fun little idea I had. Meh it sucks but it'll do.
