Flowers [Mikasa x Fem!Reader]

I didn't feel like adding the teaser in here. So if you didn't read that already it's a little obvious what chapter it is. But if you wanna read it go ahead before you do this one.

That note was mocking you.

You eyed it the whole time you were drying yourself.

"Oh what the hell." You gave in and opened the letter.

Dear (y/n),

I would like to inform you that Mikasa THE Ackerman has had a crush on you since she laid eyes on you at camp. Enjoy this new information.

Wasn't he the guy head over heels for her? Guess he isn't such a terrible guy after all.

But this note made you a lot happier than it should have. This caused you to go back to your peppy self!

You got dressed and headed to the library to study some formations that have been brought out recently. While headed to the library you saw Armin.

"Hey!" You smiled and tapped his shoulder.

"Oh! (Y/n)! You're going to the library too?" He smiled back and you notice his ocean blue eyes light up a bit.

"Yea I am actually! I'm gonna study the new formations they've been talking about!"

"So was I!" He jumped in excitement.

He and you got along rather well. He was the only other book nerd you knew and you guys bonded well because of it.

"Do you know where Mikasa is?" You asked.

"Ah. Actually I haven't seen her either." He said a bit stretched out.

"Oh um, ok." You sent him a fake smile and continued to walk by his side to the library.

You stretched and sighed looking over to the blond that still had his face stuffed in the book he picked up at least an hour ago.

"I think I'll go. See you later Armin."

"Bye, (y/n)" he said subconsciously as you walked past him.

It was a good couple hours before curfew and you went over to the mess hall(?) to get yourself something to eat before you left to the bunkers(?).

(A/n half of these terms I can't remember so please correct me! thanks c:)

Your eyes skimmed the room and you spotted Eren and Mikasa. Your eyes shined and you were hopeful for what was to come.

You grabbed your tray and went over to sit by Mikasa.

"Uh. Hey!" You smiled and nudged her.

"Hey, (y/n)." She mumbled and you could tell she was half expecting to hear what the note was about and who the guy was. You managed to catch Jean's eyes as he gave you a thumbs up and a silent mouthed 'good luck'.

"So, the note was quite interesting. I went to go meet up with the guy. And he isn't even there!" You started to sound like your usual self.

"Oh really?" She said without emotions, but you could tell that she was jealous, upset, and sad behind the mask.

"But I guess I realized something." You said and you poked her shoulder to have her look your way, and with that you gently kissed her on the lips.

You could see her explode into a blush from the corner of your eye as you started to eat your bread.

"Mikasa are you okay?" Eren asks oblivious to what just happened.

"Y-yes, I'm fine. Excuse me I'll be going to the bunker now." She stood up and grabbed her tray to put away.

You smiled to yourself and looked at her retreating form.

"I really do love you." You mumbled and glanced back down at your tray of food.

Awe flustered Mikasa is the cutest. Isn't she?
