"K-Kokichi w-wait!" Shuichi grabbed Kokichi's wrist.

Kokichi turned around. "Shuichi, I have to go.."

Shuichi sighed. "I-I know. I just wanted to say goodbye one last time."

Kokichi  frowned a bit, before his eyes lit up.

"Oh, wait! I completely forgot!"

He dug through his backpack.

"Look!"

He held out two different beaded bracelets. One blue, one purple.

"I made these! Since your favorite color is blue and mine is purple, I thought, you could wear the purple one and I could wear the blue one so when we look at them, we always think of each other!"

Shuichi took the bracelet smiling a bit as he put it on.

"T-That's a great idea! I won't ever take it off!"

"Alright! Neither will I!"

.....

Kokichi Oma boredly stared out of the car window.

They had been driving for hours now, where they used to live being far from where they were moving to now.

Not that the place they were moving to now was new to Kokichi by any means. Kokichi used to live there for a while before moving away.

But now he was back, and although you couldn't tell by looking at him; he was nervous out of his mind.

He wasn't nervous by the town itself, but the people in it.

Kokichi knew once he got into school, he would once meet his old childhood friends again.

Although he didn't know if they even considered him a friend anymore.

But, there was one person he was very excited to see again.

Shuichi Saihara.

Out of everyone in the friend group. Kokichi was by far the closest with Shuichi.

Shuichi was a shy, scared, socially awkward boy that just so happened to walk into Kokichi's life. Meanwhile Kokichi was almost the exact opposite. It was honestly a surprise they ended up being best friends till middle school.

Opposites attract, he supposed.

Kokichi sighed. Shuichi probably didn't even remember him.

And even if he did why would Shuichi keep an old stupid bracelet?

He looked down at the worn out, blue beaded, bracelet on the arm.

He most likely threw it away.

Kokichi pressed his face against the car seat, groaning.

Pops glanced over, his heterochimic eyes looking at Kokichi through the rear view mirror.

"Something wrong Kich?"

Kokichi shook his head. "No. I'm just suuuuuper bored! We've been driving foreverrr!"

Dad smiled. "Well, luckily. It looks like we're here!"

Kokichi looked back over to the window as the car stopped to a halt.

In view was a small two story house, it looked pretty good.
